The 2024 elections for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives will be held on November 5, 2024, with all districts up for election. The term of office for those elected in 2024 will begin when the House of Representatives convenes in January 2025. Pennsylvania State Representatives are elected for two-year terms, with all 203 seats up for election every two years. [2] The primary elections to choose the respective parties' nominees will take place on April 23. [3]
On February 7, 2023, Democrats affirmed their first majority in the chamber since 2010 after winning 3 special elections. [4]
Special elections
140th legislative district
Democrat John Galloway was elected magisterial district judge unopposed, succeeding District Judge Jan Vislosky upon her retirement. [5] House Speaker Joanna McClinton scheduled a special election for February 13, 2024.

Republican Joseph Adams resigned from the House on February 9, 2024. [9] A special election will be held on April 23. [10] Sterling Township supervisor Jeffrey Olsommer is the Republican nominee, while former Pike County Area Agency on Aging chair Robin Skibber is the Democratic nominee. [11]
