This editor is a Tutnum and is entitled to display this Book of Knowledge.
Although my edit count entitles me to be “A Tutnum”, I make so many small, incremental edits, that I think I should be a “Half Tutnum”, in keeping with my WikiGnome status! WikiGnomes are rather short in stature.
A few facts...
References...I actually like to read them! At this point, much of my editing is wiki gnoming to format, reFill or rescue citations. I like the challenge of hunting for sources to resolve missing citations. Editing for grammar, spelling and sentence clarity is also a favorite. I'm not doing very much actual composing, just now, because I'm hunting and pecking on an iPad.
I was born the same year
this territory became a state. So when I vacationed there many years later, it seemed most appropriate to go swimming in my
birthday suit; once on this
beach, and numerous times on
another one. Thankfully, cell phones did not have cameras, at the time.
This city, which was the site of a well-known Civil Rights Movement
sit-in, is my birthplace.
Some good work
Nigel Bonner My first article! Also my first
DYK, 30 September 2021.
Articles where I have edited well...
Alan B. Scott Lent a hand to a COI, but entirely good faith, editor
Gerald Bonner Began as a COI rescue, but I did a great deal more actual editing and good research here, and even learned how to add images! Before:
[1]After:
[2].
Atsuhiro Osuka I really made a difference with this article, because I added the Festschrift, which an Admin stated was the deciding factor, in terms of proof of notability. Because of this, he moved it to Mainspace! Before:
[3] After:
[4]
Kerala snakebite murder Much copyediting, and well as adding sources, and a great deal of text, etc. Eventually, I was the major contributor. A very unusual murder, of an innocent woman. Before
[5]. After:
[6].Continuing to to work here.
American Airlines Flight 11 A complex article, which received many edits over the years. Very long sections which needed paragraphs, and major sections which required subsections. Before
[7] After
[8]. Even now, March 2022, the paragraphs, subheadings, etc., have been retained. I received thanks, and complied with requests to review the related articles. Very rewarding WikiGnome work!

To search a specific namespace, include the prefix in searches
To search for a topic in a specific
namespace, precede the topic with that namespace's prefix, followed by a colon. If the topic has a page with that name, pressing Enter will take you right to it. Otherwise, a list of relevant search results will appear.
For example, one way to get a listing of articles on ancient Greece is to type Category:Ancient Greece in the search box. To go to the portal for the Ancient Greeks, you would type: Portal:Ancient Greece.
The namespace prefixes are: Category:, Portal:, File:, User:, Talk:, Wikipedia:, Help:, Book:, Draft:, and Template:.

Because we're awful, terrible people, who really only set up this site in the first place to attract vandals so we could annoy them.
GMGtalk 17:28, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
I cannot speak for the group, but I ruin your fun because I take riotous relish in your disappointment. I live for the ecstatic high that is correcting factual information. Your pain, my friend, is the field in which I frolic, and even the most verbose vocabulary is unable to adequately explain just how must joy I derive from reverting vandalism. Every edit is a sign that I, and that all those who defend this bastion of human knowledge, am winning, and ruining the fun of those who seek to demolish this
greatenterprise brings sheer joy, like that of a
kestrel in flight. So, my friend, fall, gall thyself, and gash gold-vermillion, for there are but three mere constants in this celestial voyage we label life -
death, taxes and editing spoilsports.

It is now crystal clear that [...] has taken a flying leap over the bar of
WP:NOTHERE and is enthusiastically setting out for the outer rim territories of time-wasting
tendentious editing. Their complaints that started this thread have little, if any merit.

Bishzilla
It isn't often that I chortle with glee, while reading WP. But the appearances of Bishzilla make me laugh aloud!
Ohh, the raptures... her graceful snout, her fiery eyes, her learned and idiosyncratic discourse! She brings joy to the hearts of all who love her, and worship from afar. (Like *really* far away, those flames look dangerous!)

Resurrection: From talkpage of Pontius Pilate
So you want us to ignore mainstream widely accepted consensus because........? No reason pretty much. I'm an atheist and I accept Jesus existed, same way I accept Caesar was real, even if I don't belive their devine parenthood.★Trekker (talk) 22:20, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
What consensus? That Pilates really ordered to crucify Jesus?--Paul Siebert (talk) 22:23, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
The consensus that Jesus existed.★Trekker (talk) 22:24, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
Really?--Paul Siebert (talk) 22:31, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
Yes, really.--Ermenrich (talk) 22:33, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
Had he been crucified, and after three days revived?--Paul Siebert (talk) 22:39, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
The article nowhere claims he was resurrected, nor do historical Jesus scholars say this. But the crucifixion is accepted as historical fact by the overwhelming consensus of scholars. Crucifixion does not necessarily lead to resurrection as far as I know.--Ermenrich (talk) 22:42, 29 July 2019 (UTC) [My bold, Tribe of Tiger]
Nowhere does it says he was revived. Stop making nonsense claims.★Trekker (talk) 23:02, 29 July 2019 (UTC)

@
Sarmiento 007: The following bits of your edit were not written in accurate, understandable English:
the pirate Trafalgar Law is based in this pirate (presume you mean "is based ON this pirate")
Low used to enjoy torturating other pirates (presume this means "Low used to enjoy TORTURING other pirates" - and there's nothing in the article that suggests this is the case)
the surgeon of the death (no idea - maybe "The Surgeon of Death"?)
because he can split the enemies with his devil fruit's hability (what on earth does this even mean) Note per Tribe of Tiger. Every time I read this, it makes me laugh! Devil's fruit hability.
The very poor English above makes me wonder whether there's a language issue, which would explain things. And the two references you provided are blogs. Blogs are not
reliable sources I'm afraid. I'm being very patient here, and I appreciate you are just trying to help, but the edit really didn't improve the article, it made the article worse. fish&karate
Dude, I really appreciate your help, thank you very much, and for your information, Trafalgar Law can divide (split) the parts of the body of the people. You would understand it if you would see One Piece.
Hugs, buddy ;) . --[[User:Sarmiento 007|

"....the WMF doesn't operate a pharmacy." I'm actually quite reassured by that. Even it is idiotic. Just sayin'.

Levivich:, yes, that's it! Many blessings and may the wheel of your llama karma turn smoothly towards rebirth. Perhaps as a giraffe?
Perhaps a giraffe might think it a gaffe to turn on the wheel of karma But a llama, it seems is a long ago dream. An effect of too much pharma? Burma-shave
A first effort...Many thanks! (I wrote the above, as a reply.)

Now, for my "Textile Artist" rant...
So, now, let us consider. Imagine that for one day, the entire US had to do without the products created by "English Professors" over the past 50 years, OR the products created by "textile people" (they don't even have to be "artists") recently or over the past 50 years. Say we chose to do without textiles. No sheets, towels...everyone walking about stark naked, and mostly barefoot. No carpet or drapes, or Kevlar vests. Many books would simply fall apart, without some form of textile to hold them together, on the covers and spines. Sailboats couldn't sail. How would a hospital manage without textiles? And now, what about COVID-19 masks, many of which are constructed of textiles? Tribe of TigerLet's Purrfect! 02:44, 7 May 2021 (UTC)

I will just add one of my favorite quotes, from the great
Leander Hamilton McCormick: "One should beware of those who cannot or will not laugh when others are merry, for if not mentally defective they are spiteful, selfish or abnormally conceited ... Great men of all nations and of all times have possessed a keen appreciation of the ridiculous, as wisdom and wit are closely allied". (Not that I'm calling any of our esteemed fellow editors mentally defective or selfish or conceited, of course.) EEng 07:27, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
Other policies, notably the
copyright violations policy, prohibit the inclusion of some information, such as too-
close paraphrasing, even if the material is supplied with an inline citation to a reliable source.
Our sourcing policies do not require an inline citation for any other type of material, although it is typical for editors to voluntarily exceed these minimum standards. Material not supplied by an inline citation may be supported with
WP:General references or sources named as inline citations for other material. If you can't find the source of a statement without an inline citation after a good-faith look, ask on the talk page, or request a citation.
Technically, if an article contains none of these four types of material, then it is not required by any policy to name any sources at all, either as inline citations or as general references. For all other types of material, the policies require only that it be possible for a motivated, educated person to find published, reliable sources that support the material, e.g., by searching for sources online or at a library. However, it is rare for articles past the
stub stage to contain none of these four types of material.
