BFAI (5,6-Benzofuranyl-2-aminoindane) is a
drug that acts as a
serotonin releasing agent (SSRA) and produces
entactogen effects in humans, which may be useful for psychotherapeutic applications. It is closely related to
MDAI but with the
benzodioxole ring system replaced by
benzofuran.[1]
