Saipancakes is the moniker used by artist and educator Nathan Shields when creating pancake artwork. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
Pancakes created by shield are often published in thematic groups. For example, there might be a group of trucks and machines that includes ambulances, tractors, excavators, bulldozers, firetrucks, etc., or animals that includes tigers, rhinos, monkeys, giraffes, zebras, elephants, etc.
Shields, who teaches mathematics and art in Northwest Washington State, began creating artistic pancakes for his children in 2012 during a stay in Saipan.
