In 2021, General Dynamics U.S. workforce was 21% veterans, 23% female, and 27% people of color. The US Department of Labor awarded the company the 2021 HIRE Vets Gold Award.[69]
The company has 26 Employee Resource Groups serving 10 employee segments.[70]
Approximately 20% of the company's employees are represented by labor unions such as International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), The International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace, and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW).[71]
Independent research published by American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD), U.S. Department of Labor, Military Times, U.S. Veterans Magazine, Professional Women's Magazine, Forbes, and Fortune Magazine selected General Dynamics as a top employer. [72]
General Dynamics' community contributions in 2021 were 70% in Education & Social Services, 18% in Arts & Culture, and 12% in Service Member Support.[73]

User:Chefmikesf, do you have sources for the updates to acquisitions and divestitures? I don't think we can wipe out the existing section when it has more information. The article in general could use some reorganization and the history section in particular has a couple orange quality banners, open to improving those if you have any input or supporting references to share. -

Indefensible Thank you for the updates to the article! I noticed I added a version of the tables without references; sorry about that. I transferred the references to the tables. What do you think? The tables have the same information as the current section; I just cleaned up the formatting. Regarding the history section, I can begin collecting references for a conceptual update outline.--

I can reformat the acquisitions & divestitures into a table, but more concerned about the sections with orange quality banners like on the F-16. -
