The Malayan flat-shelled turtle (Notochelys platynota) is a species of turtle found in Southeast Asia. [1] [4]
It is found in the mainland Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Peninsular Malaysia, [1] [4] Myanmar, Cambodia, Singapore [4]) and in parts of the Malay Archipelago (Sumatra, Java, Borneo). [1] [4]
Type locality: "in India Orientali", later restricted to "Sumatra; Singapore" by Gray (1863:177). [4]
This species can be found in lowland forests and wetlands, including streams and small creeks. [1]
