Qeshm ( Persian: قشم) [a] is a coastal city in the Central District of Qeshm County, Hormozgan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. [4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 24,461 in 5,882 households. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 28,602 people in 7,524 households. [6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 40,678 people in 11,945 households. [2]
