The Central District of Qeshm County ( Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان قشم) is in Hormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Qeshm. [3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 68,070 in 15,180 households. [4] The following census in 2011 counted 78,369 people in 19,527 households. [5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 104,955 inhabitants in 28,874 households. [2]

In May 2017, Larak Rural District was transferred from Shahab District to the Central District. [6]

After the 2016 census, the villages of Laft and Ramkan in the Central District were elevated to the status of cities. [7]
