Fin ( Persian: فين) [a] is a city in, and the capital of, Fin District of Bandar Abbas County, Hormozgan province, Iran. [4] It also serves as the administrative center for Fin Rural District. [5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 3,532 in 860 households. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 5,279 people in 1,325 households. [7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,939 people in 1,161 households. [2]

2021 earthquake

On 14 November 2021, Fin experienced a major doublet earthquake.[ citation needed]
