Mianabad ( Persian: ميان اباد), also Romanized as Mīānābād; also known as Mahīnābād, Mīān Ābeh, Mīānābeh, Mīnāvād, Minawad, and Muhinābād, [3] is a village in, and the capital of, Sarab Rural District of Giyan District, Nahavand County, Hamadan province, Iran. [4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,139 in 497 households. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,150 people in 620 households. [6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,830 people in 576 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
