Baba Qasem ( Persian: باباقاسم), also Romanized as Bābā Qāsem; also known as Bāba Gūsam, [3] is a village in, and the capital of, Gamasiyab Rural District of the Central District of Nahavand County, Hamadan province, Iran. [4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,723 in 443 households. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,835 people in 538 households. [6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,652 people in 514 households. [2]
