The Dutch-language version of the Belgian television mystery music game show I Can See Your Voice premiered the second season on
VTM on 2 September 2022.[a]
Gameplay
Format
Under the original format, the contestants can eliminate mystery singers after each round, and ended with the last remaining mystery singer depending on the outcome of a duet performance by guest artist(s).[7][8]
If the singer is good, the contestants win €2,500; if the singer is bad, the same amount is given to the bad singer instead.
Rounds
Each episode presents the guest artist and contestants with seven people whose identities and singing voices are kept concealed until they are eliminated to perform on the "stage of truth" or remain in the end to perform the final duet.
First impression (Dutch: Eerste indruk)
The guest artist and contestants are given some time to observe and examine each mystery singer based on their appearance.
Lip sync (Dutch: Lipsynchronisatie)
Each mystery singer performs a lip sync to a song. Good singers mime to a recording of their own performance, while bad singers mime to a recording by someone else.
Test picture (Dutch: Testbeeld)
The guest artist and contestants are presented with a video clue package in which one of the mystery singers discusses their life and musical qualifications.
Sound box (Dutch: Klankkast)
The guest artist and contestants are presented with video from a recording session by one of the mystery singers, but pitch-shifted to obscure their actual vocals.
Interrogation (Dutch: De ondervraging)
The guest artist and contestants may ask questions to the remaining mystery singers. Good singers are required to give truthful responses, while the bad singers must lie.
