I Can See Your Voice is a Belgian television mystery music game show series catering in Dutch language, based on
the South Korean programme of the same name. Since the show's premiere on 26 March 2022,[1][2] it has aired three seasons on
VTM.
Gameplay
Format
Presented with a group of seven "mystery singers" identified only by their occupation, a guest artist and a group of two contestants must attempt to eliminate bad singers from the group without ever hearing them sing, assisted by clues and a celebrity panel over the course of five rounds. At the end of the game, the last remaining mystery singer is revealed as either good or bad by means of a duet between them and one of the guest artists.[3][4]
If the singer is good, the contestants win €2,500; if the singer is bad, the same amount is given to the bad singer instead.

Visual round
First impression (Dutch: Eerste indruk)
The guest artist and contestants are given some time to observe and examine each mystery singer based on their appearance.[a][b][c]
Lip sync round
Lip sync (Dutch: Lipsynchronisatie)
Each mystery singer performs a lip sync to a song. Good singers mime to a recording of their own performance, while bad singers mime to a recording by someone else.[a][b][c]
Evidence round
Test picture (Dutch: Testbeeld)
The guest artist and contestants are presented with a video package in which one of the mystery singers discusses their life and musical qualifications.[a][b][c]
Rehearsal round
Sound box (Dutch: Klankkast)
The guest artist and contestants are presented with video from a recording session by one of the mystery singers, but pitch-shifted to obscure their actual vocals.[a][b][c]
Interrogation round
Interrogation (Dutch: De ondervraging)
The guest artist and contestants may ask questions to the remaining mystery singers. Good singers are required to give truthful responses, while the bad singers must lie.[a][b][c]
Following the successful broadcasts of The Masked Singer,
DPG Media formally acquired the rights to produce a local adaptation of I Can See Your Voice in Belgium (catering the
Dutch-speakingcommunity) in March 2021, including with production duties assigned by Warner Bros. International Television Production.[5][6]
Filming
Filming of the show took place at VTM Studios in
Vilvoorde.[7]
Broadcast history
I Can See Your Voice debuted on 26 March 2022.[1][2] During its first season airings, the series was already renewed for a second season[8] that premiered on 2 September 2022, but it was prematurely ended on 23 September 2022; its remaining episodes would began airing a third season on 5 May 2023.[a] A day after its finale, the series was renewed for a fourth season.[15]
