Have you seen an article on Wikipedia that needs a photograph but you can't travel a thousand miles to take it? Do you love taking pictures for the wiki but aren't sure what our needs are? This page is designed to solve both problems by matching photographers with articles that need photos. This list is sorted by locations, with each location containing two sections: one, a list of editors who can take photos at that location and the other a list of articles from that location that need photos.
It is recommended (not required) that this page be used mainly for timely requests (signed and dated), which will keep this page (or sub-pages) a manageable size, and useful. Timeless requests can go in the relevant sub-category under
Category:Wikipedia requested photographs using Reqphotoin. For instance, requests for a public royal wedding processession might go here (being a one-time event), whereas, requests for a royal castle would use only Reqphotoin (as it doesn't matter when somebody takes that photo).
Please be specific when adding your item. Add the country, state/province, and town names, creating new sections if needed. If you need to create a new section please add it alphabetically to the list.
Use this template when adding a new section to the list filling in the proper sections with either your name as a photographer, or the photo that is needed:
COUNTRY
STATE/PROVINCE
TOWN
:Needed Photos
:*None yet
:Photographers
:*None yet
To add yourself to the list, please include your user name, a link to your talk page, a link to a gallery of the photos you've contributed to the wiki if applicable, and any comment you feel is necessary. If you're able to photograph anything in a particular county or region please list yourself under that region rather than the specific town you live in. You may also want to add a comment explaining how far you're willing to travel to take a photograph.
After you have fulfilled a request, remove the item from the list and alphabetically Archive the picture into the gallery. You may want to notify the requestor that the request has been fulfilled and/or add the image to the article.
Article editors
To add an article to the list of photos needed, simply include the name of the article and a brief description of the photo as well as your signature so a photographer can contact you for details. You can also add Reqphotoin to the talk page of the article.
Note: Names of countries and political divisions link to a category of articles that need photos for that country, state or province. City names do not.
Images of the front of the
British Columbia Parliament Buildings that are not in shade. Maybe early morning, or evening in summer? Failing that, maybe someone could take existing images and brighten them up.

I am waiting on a wide angle lens, when I get that I can do a nice image of the buildings. I am poor, it will be a while befor I can afford a wide angle lens.

Marialadouce: Can photograph Ariane launches as well as anything in town and the surrounding rainforest. I have no car, though, so going further afield (besides the islands) is rare.
Free Association of German Trade Unions and
Free Workers' Union of Germany. I was wondering if someone could go to the
IISG in Amsterdam to get some photos for me. Copying them or having them copied there costs just a few cents, but having the institute scan and send them by e-mail would cost at least 30 Euros per image. The images I need were all published before 1923 so they would be public domain in the US. Please contact me, if you are willing to do this and I'll tell you the details.--

Joe D(t) Dorset & Bristol based, but I also have lots of misc photos from throughout the south west and, to a lesser extent, the rest of the UK. Search
my website to see if I have what you need. Leave a message on my talk page to get my attention or make a request.
ThisIsAce Based in Peterborough, but I travel around the UK quite a lot.
Can photograph easily as far afield as
Bristol and
Taunton. With a little bit more effort south
Wales (east of
Swansea), (north/east)
Devon,
Wiltshire,
Dorset and
Gloucestershire are not too difficult. Anywhere else in England and Wales can be done with a bit of arranging, as I travel frequently.

Steve Karg (
Gallery) I live in
Birmingham. Occasionally I venture to nearby
Atlanta, Georgia. I travel with my camera to major cities in the U.S. and Canada for
BACnet standards committee meetings.
MwannerPhotos Pretty much state parks only-- I try to stay out of Florida's cities. And I'm there only January/February
Spahi East Central Florida (St. Lucie, Indian River, Brevard, Volusia, Orange, Osceolla, Seminole Counties)
Douglas Whitaker Gainesville most of the year and Fort Lauderdale during the summer (I travel back and forth occaisonally), but if its in those areas or between them (and not too much trouble) I could most likely take care of it
Ebyabe North Central Florida (Marion and Alachua counties, primarily), but am trying to get pics of all the
NRHP places in the state, so I make trips further semi-regularly. Low priorities are west coast south of Tampa, and Palm Beach/Broward/Dade/Monroe counties. But almost everywhere else is fair game.
Tim Ross Eastern Panhandle area into Big Bend, from about Bay County to Jefferson County.
David Spalding – Leave a note on my talk page if you need something.

A photograph of the plaque of
Franklin D. Roosevelt by
Selma Burke. The original is still in the Recorder of Deeds Building, 515 D Street NW, Washington, D.C. It would make a good addition to the
Dime (United States coin) article (as well as the currently nonexistent article on Burke herself).--chris.lawson 16:53, 22 July 2006 (UTC)reply
