  • This sort of thing doesn't really belong in ITN — and it's already noted in Selected Anniversaries, anyhow. BLANKFAZE | (что??) 03:33, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)
    • IMO, it might fit in ITN if there is an article or at least a good paragraph on the commemorations in Wikipedia, and such activities have to be widely reported in newspapers, and included in Current events first. -- PFHLai 19:48, 2005 Apr 30 (UTC)

  • Can we use instead of the current , please ? It's too small at 100px. Protection is also needed. -- 64.229.223.92 11:07, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
    • Thanks, but we don't need this now. -- PFHLai 22:28, 2005 Apr 26 (UTC)

  • Lots of stuff happening, Czech PM resigns, Bulgaria and Romania sign EU accession treaties, etc etc etc, but nobody pays prompt attention to this page, so why bother anymore. — Cantus 19:52, Apr 25, 2005 (UTC)
  • Write me up an item or two and I'll add them, me lad. BLANKFAZE | (что??) 20:40, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
has this been added somewhere? which link should appear bolded? dab () 18:39, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Apologies about the link; I corrected it. Also, it should have been — it's on the front pages of the BBC, Observer, Mail on Sunday, etc. Wally 19:29, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)

  • Microsoft's Encarta encyclopedia announced it will take user edit suggestions. (Reported by the AP; [5] is one of the reposts). They claim they'll hence harness the power of "a seemingly endless pool of people who may know more about a subject than hired editors ever would -- and will offer their expert advice for free." At least Wikipedia is mentioned, though it sounds chaotic, with deletion of articles by anyone who chooses to. Tempshill 18:30, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Thank you. Not too Iraqi-centric, eh ? :-) BTW, is Wikipedia allowed to use Associated Press photos ? on the Front Page ?

I think this may not be big enough news. Too Americentric? Broken Segue 02:56, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)
It's probably not even big enough even if we were being Americentric. -- Cyrius| 05:18, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Fair enough. Still, up here in Canada is seems to be moderately-big news. Then again, Peter Jennings is Canadian. I would also argue that just because news is from the USA, does not automatically make it Americentric. -- Snickerdo 05:32, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)
