Comment: Two book sources now added, though both relate to the 1970 Miles Davis session; I'd like to see more supporting references regarding subsequent recordings (especially to support assertions such as another version being "well-known"). If such are not forthcoming, a merge to
Live-Evil_(Miles_Davis_album)#Background might be appropriate?

Weak Keep: AllyD has added sources from books. I've added one as well by
Richard Cook (journalist) which is notable in my opinion.

Comment: The current sourcing certainly isn't enough for the article to be kept. The Morton one contains less than half a sentence. The So What book contains a few sentences on legal problems. I can't access the It's about that Time book, but all it sources in the article is the sentence "On the record, it is wrongly attributed to Miles Davis". The relevant criteria here are
WP:NSONG – in particular, "a standalone article is appropriate only when there is enough material to warrant a reasonably detailed article; articles unlikely ever to grow beyond stubs should be merged to articles about an artist or album". Unless more information can be sourced, a redirect to / merge with
Live-Evil (Miles Davis album) is therefore appropriate.
