KinitoPET and Godot

Hello. Instead of restoring KinoPET to the Godot article, please discuss on the article's talk page. The list is for notable games, but notability is demonstrated through sources which are both reliable and independent of the game. Blogs and user-generated databases are not generally reliable for this kind of thing. So if you have such sources, it's going to be simpler to just write the article first. If the game isn't notable by itself but is notable as an example of a Godot game, you would need a reliable, independent source to explain why is is specifically notable as an example. Thanks. Please, slow down

Hi LIV2,

Welcome to Wikipedia! You've been here for half a week and been going at it pretty enthusiastically! Now, I do not want to temper your excitement, but I have to ask you to please, slow down. As you probably noticed, some over your edits have been reverted. Have you taken a moment to check out Wikipedia's page for new users? You might learn a thing or two!

You seem to be interested in video games and software, am I right? Well, there's a very active WikiProject Video Games (or WP:VG for short) - perhaps you like to (informally) join. The talk page is very active and if you have any questions, someone probably answer them pretty quickly.

I noticed you've been working on Draft:Celeste 64: Fragments of the Mountain. Celeste is a real gem of an indie game! I haven't been following game news recently, your edit made me aware of the game. Need help with the draft? Well, WP:VG has a curated list of reliable sources and a very useful custom Google search engine. And what do you know, I get results by Rock Paper Shotgun, Engadget and even a Dutch language IGN piece. Maybe those will help you with the draft.

You are entitled to do with your talk page whatever you want, but removing those notices and warnings does imply you understood them. But really, Wikipedia is a collaborative effort, so communication is required. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks, and happy editing. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 19:07, 14 April 2024 (UTC) reply

SRB2 video

Thanks for adding the video of gameplay to Sonic Robo Blast 2, but why did you use a clip from an old version? The video quality makes sense for the non-free use rationale but it's kind of awkward to show the gameplay with like a 2.0 video when the current version is so different. Recon rabbit 00:46, 16 April 2024 (UTC) reply

This is not a old clip is one it just looks old but is version 2.0 or later and the version is running on is v2.2.13 released September 2023 the lastest version and enabled MIDI sound new recorded a few hours ago I just made it low resloution because all fair use stuff on Wikipedia. LlV2 ( talk) 00:49, 16 April 2024 (UTC) reply
I see, the music was what confused me. I wasn't aware it had to be the MIDI version - isn't the whole game freely licensed, and it's just the visuals and sound effects that are copyrighted? Recon rabbit 01:00, 16 April 2024 (UTC) reply

Draft:The Henry Stickmin Collection

Hi, I turned down this draft because the copyvio detector flagged it as a copyvio of https://tnkesil.weebly.com/henry-stickman-escaping-the-prison-newgrounds.html but I'm a bit suspicious that it is a reverse copyvio from Wikipedia. I'd be grateful for your opinion, regards Atlantic306 ( talk) 18:25, 16 April 2024 (UTC) reply

Did not copied from Weebly copied it from archive.org Wikipedia https://web.archive.org/web/20230120035118//info/en/?search=Draft:The_Henry_Stickmin_Collection text is CC BY 4.0 from Wikipedia a dead link that only administrators can view it. LlV2 ( talk) 14:59, 17 April 2024 (UTC) reply
Just noting for the record that I have restored the original draft so there are no loner any copyright issues. Primefac ( talk) 07:17, 18 April 2024 (UTC) reply

Information icon Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Hollow Knight: Silksong, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 13:11, 17 April 2024 (UTC) reply

This edit is on mobile, mobile edits wikipedia does not show the category below and you can't add ciation in category. LlV2 ( talk) 14:54, 17 April 2024 (UTC) reply
And it isn't necessary either to add a citation, categories are for navigating and organising Wikipedia. If there are sufficient reliable sources that consider Silksong to be vaporware, add them to the article and then the category is suitable. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 16:18, 17 April 2024 (UTC) reply
I also like to point out I wrote a personal message, urging you to slow down. WP:COMPETENCE is required, no matter how good your intentions are. You have been here less than a week. Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a " cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. April 2024 sourcing

Nota bene* Please stop. The source you added from Buzzfeed does not verify the content at JumpStart Adventures 6th Grade: Mission Earthquest. In addition why did you add <ref><ref><ref></ref></ref></ref> as seen in this edit. I suggest you review our policies and guidelines on how to contribute productively in the future, or you may be blocked from editing. Isaidnoway (talk) 18:44, 17 April 2024 (UTC) reply

Did it on mobile and mobile only wanted to add a reference once it’s the mobile fault to a source controls are bad tried to put a citation it was to slippery mobile touch. LlV2 ( talk) 22:56, 17 April 2024 (UTC) reply

You have obviously NOT read Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks. You are clearly not reviewing your changes before hitting publish. There's nothing in this appeal that shows you have taken on board any of the issues raised with you. Decline. Cabayi ( talk) 08:08, 19 April 2024 (UTC) reply
