Information icon Hello, I'm 2601:188:180:B8E0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. 2601:188:180:B8E0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 ( talk) 15:30, 28 January 2020 (UTC) reply

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on ASSISTments, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Editing with a possible conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, Learningagency. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{ request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.-- SamHolt6 ( talk) 19:29, 21 April 2020 (UTC) reply

About The Wikipedia Adventure | Hang out in the Interstellar Lounge
There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{ unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{ unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I realize that the reason I have been blocked is because my username resembled an organization more than a person. I have changed my username in order to address this problem. Additionally, I realize that I have been blocked because of promotional language. I have developed a better understanding of the rules and regulations for Wikipedia and will not make this error again. I hope to use this account to contribute to important articles about education, education policy and EdTech. Please consider unblocking my account so I can participate as a Wikipedian.

Decline reason:

Decline as unresponsive. You are free to make another request when you are able to engage with us. 331dot ( talk) 18:22, 27 May 2020 (UTC) reply

Yes, I am a consultant who works on a project with WPI. Can you please advise on how I can get unblocked and publish articles compliantly?

Decline reason:

Below, you agree to stop editing in areas relating to WPI. In your very next sentence, you want to know how you can post a page about a WPI product. It seems pretty clear that your interests here lie in promoting ASSISTments, not in improving Wikipedia. Yunshui  23:50, 11 June 2020 (UTC) reply
Learningagency, I am reviewing this unblock request. If unblocked, would you agree to not make edits relating to WPI (due to your conflict of interest)? creffett ( talk) 23:45, 7 June 2020 (UTC) reply

Thank you for reviewing this request. Yes, I agree to not make any edits relating to WPI due to a COI. However, since ASSISTments is an EdTech tool, how would we be able to post this page in compliance with Wikipedia rules and conventions?
