Hi, I observe that you marked Maude Farris-Luse as reviewed, and possibly other similar ones which recently re-entered mainspace. Please note there is a dispute regarding the restoration of these articles from redirects, both at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Longevity and the editor's talk page. I was mulling over sending them to AfD to get clear consensus, rather than outright patrolling. Bungle ( talk • contribs) 11:01, 23 July 2023 (UTC)

Hi there @ Kj cheetham,
I have some articles in NPP which I would like to be reviewed (mostly translated articles). If you're fine with it, can you take a look at the following articles and potentially mark them as reviewed? They are: Artik (singer), Little Big videography, 1990 (Max Barskih album), 5sta Family, Universal Music Russia, Mot (rapper), Karina Kross, and Vanya Dmitrienko.
I also have two articles ( Danya Milokhin & Big Baby Tape) that were previously deleted in the past, but I have since recreated them and made sure more sources and content were added (not all of the information in these articles mentioned was/could be brought over, so I placed an expansion tag at the top of each). I wanted to give you a heads up on them just in case you decide to examine them/mark them as reviewed.
If you can do all of them or even just a combination of them, then that would be great. If not, it's perfectly fine. Please let me know what you think of any of these articles. Thanks in advance for your reply and help. Losipov ( talk) 21:08, 6 August 2023 (UTC)

SilverLocust has demanded an SPI checkuser on my account just because my edits were similar to the suspected sockpuppet Kajal1985srivastav. You can check my IP Address and Kajal1985srivastav's IP address. Both are different IP address and my interest in editing a certain topic can also be similar to the interest of Kajal1985srivastav. Just bacause my edita are similar to Kajal1985srivastav which is a coincidence that does not make me a suspected on confirmed sockpuppet of Kajal1985srivastav. I hope and am earnestly requesting you to please withdraw the SPI checkuser on my account because I am innocent and have not done any disconstructive edits. I hope that I will not be blocked from editing. If this will be done it would be very unfair means to me because I love to edit Wikipedia.

Hi Kj_cheetham, please check checkout the List of highest-grossing Indian films page, the page lost its reliability, some movies were removed from the list and the gross numbers were unreadable as they are changed from crores to billions and also so many columns from the list were removed due to edits made by the user User:Cinephile4ever . I cannot undo them because of the article protection. Kindly undo them to previous format like this https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=List_of_highest-grossing_Indian_films&direction=next&oldid=1168017491

Hello! Thank you for correcting the external links on the INBAR page and linking the helpful resources. Also I appreciate you clarifying what constitutes a "minor edit". I'll certainly take note going forward. I was granted a one-month IP block exemption last week, since I live in China where Wikipedia is blocked requires a VPN for access. This flagged my account to the CheckUser team. My two main goals in this one-month period are to update the page name to "Organization" with a "z" since we re-branded to American spelling last year, and also update our total Member State count to 50 since two countries' governments acceded to INBAR recently, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Chad. Thanks again for your help.

I keep having to yell at editors not to use Wikipedia:MOSNUMscript. It is broken and its author refuses to fix it. It does not respect numeric access-dates, which is a standard format allowed by MOS, neither for articles that consistently use them nor for articles that are tagged with a date-format tag saying to use them. You should not use it. For a recent previous conversation where this came up, see Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Dates and numbers/Archive 162#MOS:DATEUNIFY and MOS:DATEVAR should be more explicit about template parameters. — David Eppstein ( talk) 19:15, 17 September 2023 (UTC)

Hello Kj cheetham,
Backlog update: At the time of this message, there are 11,300 articles and 15,600 redirects awaiting review. This is the highest backlog in a long time. Please help out by doing additional reviews!
October backlog elimination drive: A one-month backlog drive for October will start in one week! Barnstars will be awarded based on the number of articles and redirects patrolled. Articles will earn 4x as many points compared to redirects. You can sign up here.
PageTriage code upgrades: Upgrades to the PageTriage code, initiated by the NPP open letter in 2022 and actioned by the WMF Moderator Tools Team in 2023, are ongoing. More information can be found here. As part of this work, the Special:NewPagesFeed now has a new version in beta! The update leaves the NewPagesFeed appearance and function mostly identical to the old one, but updates the underlying code, making it easier to maintain and helping make sure the extension is not decommissioned due to maintenance issues in the future. You can try out the new Special:NewPagesFeed here - it will replace the current version soon.
Notability tip: Professors can meet WP:PROF #1 by having their academic papers be widely cited by their peers. When reviewing professor articles, it is a good idea to find their Google Scholar or Scopus profile and take a look at their h-index and number of citations. As a very rough rule of thumb, for most fields, articles on people with a h-index of twenty or more, a first-authored paper with more than a thousand citations, or multiple papers each with more than a hundred citations are likely to be kept at AfD.
Reviewing tip: If you would like like a second opinion on your reviews or simply want another new page reviewer by your side when patrolling, we recommend pair reviewing! This is where two reviewers use Discord voice chat and screen sharing to communicate with each other while reviewing the same article simultaneously. This is a great way to learn and transfer knowledge.

Hi Amaury,
I just wanted to check in on the revisions to the Alexa Nikolas page, which I saw were deleted this morning. I worked hard to add sources and clarity to the page. I saw that another user deleted several sections, then the entire page reverted. It was a lot of work to add all those sources, and I also posted specifically about the revisions in the talk page. It felt important to add context to the controversies and the page specifically called for additional sources and citations. I added several additional sources, many of which were deleted by the second user.
Would it be possible to start a conversation in the thread I created on the talk page yesterday to see which revisions can stay or should be amended? The page is clearly listed as incomplete, so it feels like a good conversation to have.
Thanks for your time,

Our current leader is newcomer Generalissima ( submissions), who has one FA on John Littlejohn (preacher) and 10 GAs and 12 DYKs mostly on New Zealand coinage and Inuit figures. Here are some more noteworthy scorers:
As a reminder, competitors may submit work for the first round until 23:59 (UTC) on 27 February, and the second round starts 1 March. Remember that only the top 64 scoring competitors will make it through to the second round; currently, competitors need at least 15 points to progress. If you are concerned that your nomination will not receive the necessary reviews, and you hope to get it promoted before the end of the round, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. However, please remember to continue to offer reviews at GAN, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges ( Cwmhiraeth ( talk · contribs), Epicgenius ( talk · contribs), and Frostly ( talk · contribs)) are reachable on their talk pages. On 15 February 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ian Begg (architect), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Ian Begg, known for his work on restoration of castles in Scotland, designed and built his own 20th-century tower house to live in? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ian Begg (architect). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page ( here's how, Ian Begg (architect)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi @ Kj cheetham, how are you? As this article tell about Andhra Pradesh (1956–2014) histroy. In 2022 districts in Andhra Pradesh were reorganized to form new districts. Ex. from Krishna district to Krishna district and NTR district, from East Godavari district to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district, Kakinada district, East Godavari district etc.
How can split these articles so that I can have Krishna district (1956 –2022), East Godavari district (1956 –2022) etc. So that readers have information about the history of older administrative districts. Thanks RWILD ✉ 15:13, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
{{ WikiProject banner shell}} actually doesn't do "blp=no" at all — a living person needs to have blp=yes on it, but a dead person just has that flag stripped outright rather than being kept as blp=no. Which is precisely why AWB automated the removal of that flag while I was in the process of doing something else that had nothing to do with that — it's not a thing I actively went around doing, it's a thing AWB is automatically programmed to automatically wipe out as a "general coding fix" the moment it even sees that at all. The first round of the 2024 WikiCup ended at 23:59 (UTC) on 27 February. Everyone with at least 30 points moved on to Round 2, the highest number of points required to advance to the second round since 2014. Due to a six-way tie for the 64th-place spot, 67 contestants have qualified for Round 2.
The following scorers in Round 1 all scored more than 300 points:
In this newsletter, the judges would like to pay a special tribute to Vami_IV ( submissions), who unfortunately passed away this February. At the time of his death, he was the second-highest-scoring competitor. Outside the WikiCup, he had eight other featured articles, five A-class articles, eight other good articles, and two Four Awards. Vami also wrote an essay on completionism, a philosophy in which he deeply believed. If you can, please join us in honoring his memory by improving one of the articles on his to-do list.
Remember that any content promoted after 27 February but before the start of Round 2 can be claimed in Round 2. Invitations for collaborative writing efforts or any other discussion of potentially interesting work is always welcome on the WikiCup talk page. Remember, if two or more WikiCup competitors have done significant work on an article, all can claim points. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed. If you want to help out with the WikiCup, feel free to review one of the nominations listed on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed. Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages. Good luck! If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove your name from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send.
