Suppose, I have created article with some information and others have contributed there. But, if someone inserts fake information in my aricle then how to revert it to previous edit made by another person on Wikipedia?? I think you understood my question... @ Muradin-hots: Yes, I'd say that the infobox should probably be removed from that page as well. An infobox is supposed to summarize the topic of the artcle, so an airport infobox is appropriate in the article about the airport itself but not so much in articles on tangential topics, such as proposals for expanding the airport. Good morning, i've to denunce a mistake that you made removing my image. The image is a picture of the first printed edition of Divine Comedy according to encyclopedia Britannica, LaRousse, Treccani and also italian and french version of Wikipedia. The first printed edition of "Comedia" is not equal to Divina Comedia cause of the title reference that have been firstly accorded in 1555 after Boccaccio commentary. Thanks to reput the image.

I’m not understanding if you object to the idea of a “Photo Gallery” on Wiki pages, or if you object to the photos I included. Since you removed the “Photo Gallery” category completely, I’m assuming it’s the former. This is puzzling to me, as, in my opinion, a Photo Gallery greatly improves not only the aesthetics of a page, but contributes more information. After all an photo is worth a thousand words. Or more. On the Chaco page most of the photos embedded in the text were taken far away, and so the reader can not appreciate the many details at the site. It seems to me a photo is as informative as text. Finally, in my opinion, comparing the page with and without the gallery is like night and day, the inclusion greatly increasing the page’s overall appearance. The latter is an aesthetic opinion, however. I had no idea that the issue of either having a “Photo Gallery” or not was controversial; I had assumed it was an accepted inclusion in a Wiki article of this nature. After all, I had the sense Wiki was trying to get more images and of higher quality.

@ Steven C. Price: I'm not personally opposed to all photo galleries, but I think that the one you were creating at that article was clearly too extensive and violated the WP:GALLERY principle that "images in a gallery should be carefully selected, avoiding similar or repetitive images". Moreover, since the article was a featured article to begin with, making such an addition without consensus seems unwise to me. By your removal of inbox on Caesarea‎, you also removed a lot of information, e.g. the link to Morris, about how it became depopulated in 1948. This inbox, is btw, standard on *all* 1948 -villages, listed in Template:Palestinian Arab villages depopulated during the 1948 Palestinian exodus. @ Huldra: The infobox—in addition to introducing overlapping title coordinates—seemed unnecessarily intrusive in the article. You put it in the "Middle Ages" section, where it had no relevance, and it pushed some images down alongside portions of the text to which they had no relevance. If it contained sourced information that is not present in the text of the article, I suggest that you work that information (and the sources) into the text rather than "burying" it in an infobox. If the village of Qisarya had a separate article, as most of those in Template:Palestinian Arab villages depopulated during the 1948 Palestinian exodus do, the infobox would make sense there, but I see on the talk page that it was decided several years ago to treat ancient Caesarea, Qisarya, and modern Caesarea in a single article. I also see that the article is under Arbcom sanctions, so I recommend that you start a thread on the talk page, seeking consensus for the inclusion of a second infobox, rather than edit warring to include it. Lol, I have not edit-warring to include it, and it was me who just put that Arbcom sanctions on the talk page. As for the rest, take a look at Amka and Sepphoris: when one of the -48 villages is included with other, say, post-48-material, then the -48 inbox is still included. It is really not controversial (or has´t been, up till now?). Were the pictures should be, and which co-ord should be in, was something I was still working on, when you swooped in. If you think that there are sufficient new sources to justify an article, you can present the sources at deletion review and ask that the article be restored. Alternatively, I can userfy the article for you, and you can try to improve it with those new sources. You can then bring the matter up at DRV, asking for permission to move the userspace draft into mainspace. @ Castlemate: I'm responding here because you've placed this notice on quite a number of our talk pages. Basically, the answer is "no, not yet". Hockey hasn't even resigned from parliament yet, Zimmerman hasn't been preselected yet, he hasn't actually won the election yet. There is plenty of precedent that MPs only get pages when they're actually elected, unless they have some other rock-solid basis for notability (a la John Alexander (Australian politician)). @ Bdot87: If you create a new draft, written entirely in your own words, and submit it to Wikipedia:Articles for creation, it may well be accepted. (I haven't done any research to allow me to judge whether the company meets our notability guidelines.) You will definitely need to supply some reliable sources—other than the company's Web site itself—for the information about the company. Stuff that is copied from elsewhere on the Web gets deleted quickly here; we don't want such material hanging around on the site even in article histories.

I noticed for many of the articles, though, I am unable to use the pushpin map parameters in the infobox like I can for Kvinneakt and many other sculptures in Oregon. @ Another Believer: That's correct. If you go to Template:Infobox artwork#Map and coordinates, you can see what fields you can use in that template if you want to include a location map (latitude =, longitude =, iso_region =, | coordinates_format = dms, | coordinates_display = inline,title, as well as the parameters for the map itself). Personally, I think that's too much work, and that's why I didn't do it. (I have an off-WP file of forms of the {{coord}} template with various parameters included so that I can just copy/paste the template and fill in the numbers.) I also think that including a pushpin map of a whole city—or, God forbid, a whole state—for something as small as an individual sculpture is pretty much useless for the average reader. If someone wants to see a map showing the location of a sculpture, he or she can click on the coordinates, select a map, and zoom in and out to get a really clear idea of where the thing is located. If you nevertheless think that pushpin maps are desirable, you're welcome to adjust the infoboxes accordingly. I'd be pleased, though, if you used the exact coordinate values I added to the articles; it took a considerable amount of work to find them. Deor ( talk) 22:07, 9 October 2015 (UTC)

@ The Anome: You're welcome. As DThomsen8 says on the talk page, many of those that remain are not-yet-existing airports or WWII airfields that have left little trace. I was able to geocode a few of the latter by referring to old aerial photographs in the sources and comparing coastlines with those shown in Google, but that procedure seems to flirt rather heavily with original-researchiness. And I've always had trouble locating tiny Dominican Republic airstrips in the absence of any clear location information in the articles. It seems unlikely that I'll be able to knock off any of the others in the list (at least until some of them get completed—if they ever do—and show up on OSM or Google.) Hey there, I see you removed a description section for the black oak park page I've been editing. As it was a simple copy paste from the parks description page, I guess its deemed a copyright violation, however I made edits to the the text to include links to all the animals and other parks.

When is it acceptable to copy a parks description, and how much modification must I do to the original description in order for it not to be considered copyright violation?

I do intend to add my own unique description f the park as I frequently visit it, but I thought it useful to include the parks official description along with wiki links to all the animals, but I won't add it back until I've sufficiently modified the description so it does not violate copy right. @ Tom.fancsy: You can mention and link the kinds of animals found there, and so forth, in your own words (and include an inline reference to identify the Web page where you got the information); but you can't just copy and paste the information from some other Web site, as that is indeed a copyright violation. Adding wikilinks to the material doesn't change that. Your "own unique description" of the park will also have to include citations to sources other than yourself, since your own unsourced observations would constitute original research, which is not permitted on Wikipedia.

The thing to remember when editing here is that all information must be attributed to reliable sources, but one cannot copy the exact words of the sources. Just read the sources and tell the reader in your own words what they say. Deor ( talk) 15:17, 16 October 2015 (UTC)

Hello, Work2win. WP:DEADREF gives the procedure to follow when encountering a dead external link in a reference. Sometimes, one can find the source reproduced at a different website. That's the case, for instance, with the first reference you deleted; that Associated Press article can be found here. (I'll add that URL to the article when I finish this message.) Sometimes, one can retrieve an archive of the source at the Wayback Machine or elsewhere. And the links in the last two refs you deleted work for me. In general, it's best not to delete a reference just because the link is not working. (Links in the "External links" section of an article are a different matter; dead links there are routinely deleted.) Deor ( talk) 22:04, 31 October 2015 (UTC)

First of all, RAYLEIGH22, we don't direct readers to external Web sites in the body of articles (see WP:ELPOINTS #2), and the treatment of specific ideas about the location of Atlantis belongs, not in the main Atlantis article, but in the article Location hypotheses of Atlantis. (There is a brief mention of the Azores in Atlantis, in the paragraph following your attempted insertion, and a subsection on the topic in the location-hypotheses article.) Also, the Web site you referred to appears to meet several of the criteria for links to be avoided (particularly numbers 2 and 11) and, in addition, seems to be hosting copyright-violating material (see WP:ELNEVER).

As for Wikiversity, much of the information included there is not suitable for inclusion here, since the two projects have quite different purposes. As the tag at the top of their Atlantis article notes, the article contains original research, which is not permitted here. If you think that there are now sufficient sources to support an article on the person, bring the matter up at deletion review (see WP:DRVPURPOSE #3). I notice, however, that the sources for most of the biographical information in the article appear to be postings at user-generated sites by you yourself. These articles are not user generated. They've been re-written dozens of times by the editor in chief. There is also an article of the Ministery of Education (Clemi) analysing the impact of the two most famous talk shows, Italiques ansd Apostrophes, the second being considered by Paul Auster and James Lipton, from the Actor's Studio, essential. You know what we say in France, fighting terrorism starts by culture. I know Literrature talk shows have no existence in he USA, but these shows could make sometimes 2 or 3 millions viewers each time, here. Too bad nobody wants to talk about it here.
