When reviewing submissions, we run a copyright scan which matches your submission with the references you used. And it grieves me to say that the scan picked up a 21.3% confidence of similarity with the stated website on the declination banner of your submission. And after I thoroughly check through, some words cannot be rephrased like the singer's name. So I think I'll pass on the copyvio. My apologies. BTW, I saw that your article sourced Youtube as a source. User generated content is not really encouraged to be cited. Cheers and happy editing.

Project Tiger Writing Contest
In 2017 – 2018, the
Wikimedia Foundation and Google working in close coordination with the
Centre for Internet and Society (CIS),
Wikimedia India Chapter (WMIN) and user groups from India, are piloting a program encouraging Wikipedia communities to create locally relevant and high-quality content in Indian languages. This program will (a) support active and experienced Wikipedia editors through the donation of laptops and stipends for internet access and (b) sponsor a language-based contest that aims to address existing Wikipedia content gaps.
Phase (a) has been completed, during which active contributors were awarded laptops and internet stipends. Phase (b) will be a contest in which editors will come together and develop a writing contest focused on content gaps. Each month three individual prizes will be awarded to each community based on their contribution for the month. The prizes worth 3,000 INR, 2000 INR, and 1,000 INR, will be awarded to the top contributors for each month. The contest started at March 1, 2018, 0:00, and will end at May 31, 2018, 23:59 (IST). Your recent article submission to
Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by TryKid was:
This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability. Wikipedia requires significant coverage (not just mere mentions) about the subject in published,
reliable,
secondary sources that are independent of the subject—see the
general guideline on notability,
the golden rule and learn about
mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. Please improve the submission's referencing (see
Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners and
Help:Introduction to referencing/1), so that the information is
verifiable, and there is clear evidence of why the subject is
notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia. If additional reliable sources cannot be found for the subject, then it may not be suitable for Wikipedia at this time.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Third and fourth references are primarily and very close to the subject. Second reference is good but isn't enough.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to

Hi Vivek, re:
this edit, per
MOS:FILM, Wikipedia editors should not be acting as critical response aggregators. If we want to summarise the overall critical response to a film, we must provide a source that summarises the overall critical response to a film. Part of the problem is that if we cherrypick reviews and then summarise those reviews, we are actively inserting our personal biases into an article. If I like a film, I might be more likely to choose positive reviews, whether I'm doing it on purpose or not. And if we go to an article that already has reviews, and then try to summarise that selection, we might be enforcing someone else's selection bias. This is why we should only quote reliable sources.
Additionally, phrasing like "mixed to positive", "positive to mixed", "mixed to negative", etc. phrasing is widely considered meaningless by multiple WikiProjects. "Mixed" already means "positive and negative", so "positive to mixed" would mean "positive to positive and negative". Please avoid such phrasing. Thank you,

Cyphoidbomb: Just a quick question. In the 'Awards and nominations' section of any film/person, which awards are worth mentioning? Referring to
Jacqueline Fernandez#Awards and nominations, most of the awards are unheard of - at least by me!
This user is adding some awards which are unheard of or not much is available on Google. He/she is providing references but those are not notable I guess. Like for example
this edit, the reference is some kind of survey form or something. I went through the discussion page of
Wikipedia:WikiProject Film/Indian cinema task force and found
this and
this quite relevant to my situation, but not many users had replied on these threads to make a proper discussion. So, I need some help here. Thanks a lot
Vivek Ray (

Awards are problematic. I think people create them as money-making ventures, and I'm sure that in some cases they're in cahoots wtih marketing groups to give their actor clients extra promotional boosts. As a general unwritten rule, if an award doesn't have an article at Wikipedia, it's probably not worth mentioning. This isn't a random thing I'm making up. If you look at
List of child actors from Canada, you'll notice that most of the kids listed have articles. This is because we don't want people using Wikipedia as a directory, and you can imagine that every grandmother in Canada would love to add the names of their actor grandkids. Generally speaking, if an entry doesn't have an article, then notability has not been properly established for it. If you look at
this discussion, while it focuses more on award article creation, you can see some disdain, ex: "I'd suggest editors watch List of accolades received by Carol (film) for indiscriminate entries." Also some stuff here
[1]. @
Betty Logan: Do you have anything to add here? How would you decide whether or not to keep an award in an article like this?
Cyphoidbomb (
talk)
16:44, 20 May 2018 (UTC)
Per
WP:FILMCRITICLIST: Awards included in lists should have a Wikipedia article to demonstrate notability. Because of the proliferation of film festivals and "award mills", festival awards should be added with discretion, with inclusion subject to consensus. Awards bestowed by web-only entities are not included. I haven't looked through the list to see which ones meet the criteria but it's fairly straightforward.

Hello Sir, I would like to inform you that the rating column that I had added in the bollywood films of 2018 was about the ratings of all the movies. I was editing it and in the first phase itself, it was removed. I didn't understood the reason. Can you please explain it to me?

see your final change here. Also, I am not sure if ratings are supposed to be displayed on the 'List of films' article. I haven't seen it yet. If you want to add rating of any film, you can do it on their respective article page by providing proper references. You can read about referencing over

My edit
Yes Sir since I am new here, I was just checking if it works properly. So I had edited just one column and was planning to complete the rest by today.
And one more thing, I thought rating would be a good option to have while searching for the recent movies. Anyways, if you think that it is not required then no problem.

IAmPushpak: If you would like to experiment, please use the

I ask you to read through the links and policies if you want to stay and contribute on Wikipedia without getting blocked by someone.
I see that you've created some Mirchi Music Awards articles. All of them have only primary sources, from organisation's own website. You remove native names from articles talking about Indic script this Indic script that but your own articles are improperly sourced. I don't think anyone of them will survive an AfD. Add enough reliable sources from news website, if you don't I'll slap AfD templates on them (jk I'll just add the sources myself if you don't).
TryKid (

TryKid: Hi, first of all those articles that you mentioned do not have "only primary sources from organisation's own website". There were 1-3 independent news articles referenced. I have added some more. Please, go through them and let me know if they can be improved, or help me by improving them! Actually, was thinking to add them since past few days but was just procrastinating! Thank you for threatening me out of my procrastination phase! It's always helpful to get rid of that monkey! LOL
Also, it's a bit confusing. I have seen various articles about awards citing the organisation's own website. Some of them are even Featured List! Like for example:
National Film Award for Best Actress,
National Film Award for Best Actor,
65th National Film Awards (not FL). There are more National Film Awards and Filmfare Awards articles with citations of their own websites for the list of nominees/winners/jury/etc. There are articles related to Oscars and Golden Globe which cite mostly (or sometimes, only) their own webpages and are Featured Lists. (I am not comparing MMA with these prestigious awards BTW!) This led me to assume that awards websites can be cited for the list of nominees/winners/jury. So, please help me by clarifying.
Going back to the articles created by me, they were reviewed and approved by the 'new page reviewer' group and that led me to believe that my citations are OK. And, since you are going to have a look at them, can you please assess the pages for quality? I believe the articles will come under
WP:FILM,
WP:INDIA and
WP:PRIZE.
Regarding the Indic script thing, I am not against it or for it. I am totally neutral about it. I was just removing them because the MOS says they should not be present. If you want to add back anything that I have deleted, you can do so giving your reasons in the edit summary. I will not remove it again. But yeah, do tell me about any such re-addition so that I can remove those pages from my AWB list.
Vivek Ray, Primary Sources: Primary sources can be used for like uncontroversial claims like who started the award, when it started, who was the organizer. But, you've to include non-primary sources to establish notability. 5-6 news articles from websites like Times of India or The Hindu really help. You are right, primary sources can be cited for nominee list or things like that, just like the TV show itself is the source for credits, plots character list etc. But, like I said, reliable sources to establish notability. NPR and Review: Your articles look really good, so maybe that's why they weren't touched by New Page Reviewers. I don't review articles for quality, as I'm not part of those WikiProjects and I don't believe that I'm competent enough to 'review' articles. You can add WikiProject templates on them, how to do it is written on every wikiproject page, but I personally believe that WikiProject aren't very helpful, besides a list of FA articles of that subject so that I can model my articles after them. Indic: Yeah you aren't alone in this Indic script thing many people do it and blindly follow rules like this. Yeah rules are good they maintain quality, MOS is good guide for making articles look good and shiny, but remember Wikipedia rule 0: If a rule stops your from improving Wikipedia, then ignore that rule. Or something like that, but you got the idea I think. I not the best editor here so everything I say may be wrong but you your own judgement. AWB truck I know because I regularly view some user's contributions page, just to see what people are up to and if any new drama is brewing. Cyphoidbomb has best contributions, always tagging new users with warnings. That's a very good way to meet new people. Bye and Thanks. TryKid (

Csgir (

04:44, 1 August 2018 (UTC)
@
Csgir: No, not at all! The 'Plot' section for a TV series should be within 500 words. If someone starts writing episode-wise update, the length will run over the word limit. To know more about how to write a plot for a TV series, you can read
MOS:TVPLOT. It is really helpful. Regarding Bepannah, I have put a 'long plot' template and a comment that the plot should be within 500 words. But they are ignored by the users who update it every night after the show airs. Thanks to
User:Nusrat21's copyediting/trimming the plot is not ridiculously big! Additionally, a separate sub-section of '6 Months Later' looks really absurd. It can be written in prose like "After six months, Zoya is..." or any other way which is more pleasant to read. I have changed it twice but some IP added back the sub-section heading! What do you think about it? Thanks
Vivek Ray (

Exactly, the "6 months later" section seems like a episodic update done right after the show airs every night. I don't mind the "6 Months Later" sub-section to denote a leap. Will trim that section in some time.

2018 Nobel Peace Prize article. I've also posted to the Project's talk-page and a couple other editors as well. Any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Litjade: Oops, I see I didn't "ping" you in my last message! Sorry for messing up. Anyways, I have changed the article to B-class as I think it satisfies the criteria easily.

A thousand thanks! (Is it a faux pas not to ping you on your own talk-page? My apologies, if so.) I'll rest my eyes while, hopefully, fresher eyes lead to new ideas for improving the article. Thanks again. —
