An article you recently created,
Sala Daeng, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from
reliable,
independent sources. (

verifiability is of
central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to

With the edit summary: (De-PRODed - Have to question the judgment involved in PRODing the most prominent band of one of the most influential genres in 20th century Thai society). [1] [2] [3] [4]. No worries, but I would appreciate it if you added some sources as the articles are all unreferenced. Generally speaking albums do not inherit notability from the band that made it, so if no-one adds any sources it may be sent to AfD by me or someone else later on. Dysklyver

Hey, I wanted to continue the discussion on Thai municipal governance without further clogging up the article page. Local government in different countries is an interest of mine. To reiterate, I get that municipal government is a different dimension than administrative division and are for most purposes are independent of the administrative divisions; this is true of most countries. I just wanted to clarify which level the different municipalities correspond to on the administrative level. For instance, using town-municipality (thesban mueang) Chonbuir as an example, we'd say that Chonburi is in Mueang Chonburi District which is in Chonburi Provice, correct? Essentially, this would mean that the corresponding administrative level would be that of sub-district/township, that is to say that it's a high enough a level that it's not in a township as well. I'm guessing this means that both city and town municipalities (with the two special cases excepting) are at the sub-district level, that is that once a defined territory is granted "city" or "town" status it cease to belong part of the subdistrict/township it was carved out of, correct?
Now, getting down to subdistrict/township municipalities (thetsaban tambon) is where I get confused. Are they still said to "belong to" or "be in" the subdistrict(s)/township(s) in which they are carved out of? For instance, is Bueng Kan township municipality "in" Bueng Kan Township (and it appears part of Wisit Township) or carved out of and independent of it like the city and town municipalities are? It may very well be that all municipalities are on the same level like you originally said.
Finally, not municipal governments, but on the administrative divisions, it appears that anything not in a municipality is in subdistrict (tambon), which are then further subdivided into villages (muban), correct? It appears villages don't have a corresponding municipal level, that they are lower than anything else.
BTW, I left a similar question of clarification on the pages for Myanmar. You wouldn't happen to know about their municipal governments, would you? -- Criticalthinker ( talk) 23:39, 30 December 2017 (UTC)

I came to apologize for being so terse with you. I'm not the warmest, fuzziest administrator even in the best of times, but I've been sick for almost two weeks, and it makes me crankier than usual. I'm still not going to answer your question, but I'll explain a little why. CheckUsers have to make determinations all the time whether to tag the userpage of a sock. Many things go into that decision. Without going into detail, in this particular case the Markhyun account was definitely a sock, but it wasn't clear to me who the master was. Therefore, I intentionally left off the tag. It also means I couldn't tell you even if I felt comfortable policy-wise doing so.
As for your issue with the draft, did you want to know whether it was appropriate to tag the draft with WP:CSD#G5, or was it some other reason? If you explain that bit to me, perhaps I can help.-- Bbb23 ( talk) 00:31, 9 March 2018 (UTC)

Hello. The article has been tagged as lacking references since 2008, and the material that I removed was totally unsourced, while variants that have an own article were left untouched, since they have sources in their respective article (or at least are supposed to have sources there...). But feel free to add it again, provided you add sources for it. Cheers, - Tom | Thomas.W talk 20:18, 24 April 2018 (UTC)

Hello Paul, I need your advice once more: I have got a DYK nomination that has been featured before at a current events portal. It is the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Japan article. Two questions:

On 3 May 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Royal Turf Club of Thailand, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that horse racing became so popular in Thailand that in 1949 the government ordered the Royal Turf Club and the Royal Bangkok Sports Club to alternate months holding races? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Royal Turf Club of Thailand. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, Royal Turf Club of Thailand), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot ( talk) 17:38, 22 May 2018 (UTC)
On 24 May 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Pilok, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. Your revert edit summary cites WP:HAT. I have to ask... did you read it? "Basic rule #1" states:
Link directly to other articles; do not pipenon-disambiguation links. Linking to redirects is typically not preferred, although of course exceptions can occur.
. (bolding mine) In this case, you are linking to a re-direct based on a page move that hasn't even occurred yet, and might not occur at all. Linking to the article with its current title in the "See also" is not only sufficient, but appropriate. A self-revert here is called for. - wolf 12:00, 7 July 2018 (UTC)

Hello Paul 012 - My changes are by no means "Qutie clearly erroneous". On the Internet you will find three names, which are supposed to affect all the same mountain. Phu Thap Boek, Phu Tabberg and Phu Man Khao. This is "Qutie clearly erroneous". As you could check yourself - there are actually three different mountains, in different places. Phu Thap Boek is located in Phu Hin Rong Klao National Park in Loei Province. Phu Tabberg is located in Phetchabun province. Phu Man Khao is located in Phitsanulok province. So clearly three different mountains. On the internet, someone invented this name confusion - many companies (for example: Agoda, Tripadvisor) have taken over these false texts unchecked. Since Wikipedians should do better research for their texts, I would like to have revised these three mountains / contributions. On the Internet can be found a lot of false information. Are we packing? With kind regards -- KusiD ( talk) 06:37, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
Hello Paul_012 - Okay - Phu Tabberk exists just like Phu Thap Boek. Proofs? May I help you:
Phu Tabberk - Coordinates: 16° 53' 51.70" N, 101° 06' 19.63" E. This mountain is falsely referred to in Wikipedia as Phu Thap Boek. Please study the link below and you will notice that there is exactly the Phu Tabberk (with picture!) Described - which is called on Wiki as Phu Thap Boek. On the Phu Tabberk I was personally already. It can be found there a board with just that name and the elevation.
Link: https://www.tourismthailand.org/Attraction/Phu-Tabberk--4837
Phu Thap Boek - Coordinates16° 54' 24.27" N, 101° 05' 10.31" E. This is a very different mountain than described in Wiki. This is in the Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park and is densely wooded. It has a very eventful history and today still houses various military facilities. Read the following link - and you know more than many "Internet specialists".
Link: https://www.thainationalparks.com/phu-hin-rong-kla-national-park
Whether someone is familiar with the Thai language or not - this has nothing to do with it - but with factual research. That there is a Phu Thap Boek in the Phu Hin Rong Kla NP is indeed confirmed with the above link from official side. That the Phu Tabberk should stand in the Phu Hin Rong Kla NP I have never said. So - no confusion and no misallocation - only misserable research has led to this confusion.
What do you think? With kind regards -- KusiD ( talk) 13:36, 3 August 2018 (UTC)

I want you to help me decide about a page List of palaces in Bangkok in my opinion I think this page is duplicate with List of Thai royal residences and it will make a problem about updating and information is duplicate. For the solution I reference the prototype page List of British royal residences they don't have List of palaces in London page. they have only Category:Palaces in London so I propose to delete List of palaces in Bangkok page and substitute with Category:Palaces in Bangkok.
This solution help us to prove and update Wikipedia easily.

I saw Khrong Chandawong listed as a missing high-priority bio in the Thailand project and created the page, and then noticed you had already created Krong Chandawong. I have some issue to ask you in Thailand national under-21 football team page, I think it is not necessary to create this page due to in Asia football other country in Asia use only U17 U20 and U23 no U21 and the important is in the official continent match their are no compettiton about U21. Their have only friendly compettition and you can see in other asia country their are no U21 team. So can you please delete or make a discussion to delete U21 page cuz it overlap with U23 page.
U21 is only policy from the FA to send a player to U23 in official match so U21 is not a main or important to have a page on Wikipedia.

Secondly, you said "Sourcing alone is not reason not to allow an article", you are an old editor so you must be aware of WP:V. Where does it say that sourcing is not important?

I can't. G4 is for cases in which the recreated material is substantially similar to the previously deleted version, and in this case mandatory check before the deletion showed that the one line present in the article at the time it was tagged for G4 was 99% similar to the one line their in 2017 when the article was last nominated for deletion. If you want to dodge the G4 issue, you need more material and better citations in the article, more the former than the latter in this case. If its substantially different then the deleted version then it can be returned to afd as opposed to being summarily deleted. For what it is worth though, coming from the admin perspective, this seems to be a case of WP:TOOSOON: there are roughly half a dozen deletion notations and each of the previous versions has never really built on what little there was to begin with. Perhaps a redirect would be more in order for the time being? It would at a minimum point people to his achievements with a team, which is better than nothing (although as a content contributor I do conceded that this is usually not a favored option for those who want an article). You might be interested in this one: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hapa Road railway station. There are currently 2,800 articles written about the 8,500 railway stations in India. Hi Paul, I just wanted to apologize thoroughly for lumping MCOT HD in the Bankster move list. I was frustrated at some of the other moves and especially at Bankster not even using requested moves or offering any space to discuss the changes he proposed (some of those articles were high-profile enough that I thought an RM was merited), and the title "Channel 9 MCOT HD" stuck out to me while reviewing his move history as being way out of tune with MOS. I should have, in hindsight, made that its own RM and pinged you. Thank you for your understanding. Raymie ( t • c) 18:28, 28 March 2019 (UTC)

What's your idea on which kind of info regarding Thai monarchy should be in History of Thailand since 2001, Monarchy of Thailand, Politics of Thailand, and individual monarch's biography page? -- Wedjet ( talk) 14:05, 19 September 2019 (UTC)
Hey Paul, thanks for getting back to me! I did actually intend for the article to have the "Unbalanced" template. Before I made edits, the articles made by Torpido were filled with WP:PEACOCK words. I tried to remove what I could, but because all of the articles were written with the same biased intention, I added the unbalanced tag to the articles that it was necessary. If you want to go back through the edit history for that article and Phadung Dao Road, you may, so you could see where I was coming from when I tried to fix the bias. However, based on the current state of the article, I will agree that "Broaden" is the best course of action for Unakan Road. Utopes ( talk) 00:09, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. If your account is more than four days old and you have made at least 10 edits you can create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.

Hi Paul 012, I'm not entirely sure how to reply to messages on my talkpage, so I figured I'd just reply here. Thanks for letting me know about files not usually having talk pages or WikiProject banners, didn't know about that. Does that apply to categories as well, or can I keep tagging those? You suggested that I should sort out the muddle in this tree. I wanted to put my thoughts to you before acting. I am not sure that the "by heritage register" level adds much, except where there are multiple registers. Accordingly "listed buildings and structures in fooland" should be in "listed buildings and structures" only, but where there are multiple registers, as UK, Canada and Hong Kong, a by register level might be useful. IN the case of UK there is in fact already a parent, UK listed buildings and structures, so that perhaps in that case this is not useful. What do you think? I have bookmarked your talk page, so please feel free to reply here. Peterkingiron ( talk) 15:41, 4 November 2019 (UTC)

Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to [email protected], so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at [email protected].
Thank you!

Hey, Paul! It was a probable partial use of our article in another article -- I was discussing it at User_talk:Money_emoji#copyright after 'continuation' -- and I'd reverted, but apparently not far enough, sorry! --valereee ( talk) 19:34, 25 November 2019 (UTC)

Hi User:Paul 012, I'm the editor who PROD'd the article Supol Phuasirirak. There doesn't seem to be anything in the article as it stands to establish notability. I'm sure you know more about Thai culture than I, judging from your edit history. Are you interested in improving the article so that it does not get nominated for deletion? Best to you, Netherzone ( talk) 23:31, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
On 27 December 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Poonsapaya Navawongs na Ayudhya, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that when the Thai government ordered her return from the U.S. during World War II, PhD student Poonsapaya Kraiyong joined the Free Thai resistance movement instead? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Poonsapaya Navawongs na Ayudhya. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, Poonsapaya Navawongs na Ayudhya), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
