Tirur ( Persian: تيرور) [a] is a city in the Central District of Minab County, Hormozgan province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 4,037 in 873 households, when it was a village in Gurband Rural District. [4] The following census in 2011 counted 4,362 people in 1,098 households. [5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,871 people in 1,365 households, [2] by which time the village had been elevated to the status of a city. [6]
