Tarsus or Tarsos ( Ancient Greek: Ταρσός) was a town of ancient Bithynia, on the inland road east of Nicomedia. It is mentioned by Stephanus of Byzantium. [1]
Its site is located near Tarsiye in Asiatic Turkey. [2] [3]
