No Mention of Exclusivity Deal

Why is there no mention in this article that Oddworld Inhabitants inked an exclusivity deal with Microsoft to develop Oddworld games only for the Xbox?

http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/microsoft-secures-exclusive-worldwide-rights-to-publish-oddworld-games-for-xbox-75154917.html

I assume there are additionally resources that argue this is the reason for Oddworld's departure from games after the original Xbox failed to take off (not just that Lanning was mad at EA). But, even if there aren't, the inked deal is still a pretty big event for the company. Why is it absent? RealmRPGer ( talk) 22:00, 18 June 2013 (UTC) reply

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I didn't know there was a deal put in writing like that, but now that I do, I'll be wedging that into the article in the appropriate section. I've been trying to make this article reflect absolutely everything about the company from its origins to its latest updates, so I'm glad I'm aware of something I missed. Can a sentence end in an exclamation mark and a period?

"...called Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty!."
Should the period be removed?-- Adûnâi ( talk) 19:17, 30 July 2017 (UTC) reply

Trim this article down a lot

I'm gonna try my hand at trimming this down. In the meantime, hot take but I should ask before I do anything drastic. Is there "future" section even necessary? i might just delete it in its entirety. It doesn't have any encyclopedic information at all, only speculative business-related quotes from Lanning. Wikipedia isn't a quote repository.
