Celebrity news doesn't seem very important in the general scheme of things. This kind of thing happens all the time, why should it be on Wikipedia?
(I made other changes in the edit, if this is overturned please just reinsert it instead of reverting the edit.)

User:Mufka removed the 1959 event of Asterix's first adventures being published. Check here. FYI, in a great many countries the character and adventures of Asterix are part of the popular culture, as it's one of the great comics of the 20th and 21st century. Google acknowleged this by having a special logo on the 50th anniversary October 29. May I politely request you undo your edit? Thanks in advance. Qwrk ( talk) 00:19, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

There's an entry here for protests against cruise missiles:

@ KDTW Flyer, 173.3.78.119, and 64.151.2.245: I think I'm persuaded that the 2014 SF Giants' win isn't notable. But given the recent edit-skirmish, shouldn't we seek consensus here? ... richi ( hello) 08:45, 30 October 2016 (UTC)
