District size

In the opening: "Each representative represents a district of at least 172,000 people." When maps were drawn in 2012, all legislative districts contained at least 203,000 people. Is there a reason to use the smaller number? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:14A:C201:62BB:7121:C7E6:92DA:624D ( talk) 21:46, 18 May 2020 (UTC) reply

Edited to reflect that number with a reference included. Thanks! Jmaxson ( talk) 15:26, 9 April 2021 (UTC) reply
