Kuhestak (
Persian : کوهستک )
[a] is a city in, and the capital of,
Bemani District of
Sirik County ,
Hormozgan province,
Iran .
[4] It also serves as the administrative center for
Bemani Rural District .

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,449 in 430 households, when it was a village in Bemani Rural District of the former Byaban District of
Minab County .
[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,548 people in 591 households,
[7] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Sirik County.
[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,060 people in 746 households,
[2] when the village of Kuhestak had been elevated to the status of a city.
