Chenar-e Olya (
Persian : چنارعليا )
[a] is a village in, and the capital of,
Chaharduli Rural District
[4] of the
Central District of
Asadabad County ,
Hamadan province,
Iran . The village is populated by
Kurds and
Turkic peoples.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,183 in 528 households.
[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,415 people in 640 households.
[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,020 people in 602 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
