Blackberry Township is located in Kane County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 15,090 and it contained 4,988 housing units. [3] Most of its land use is agricultural.

Geography

The major part of the village of Elburn and a small part of the village of North Aurora are incorporated villages in Blackberry Township. The rest belongs to unincorporated Kane County.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 35.03 square miles (90.7 km2), of which 34.92 square miles (90.4 km2) (or 99.69%) is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 km2) (or 0.31%) is water. [3]

La Fox is a small unincorporated community in Blackberry Township on the train line to Chicago.
