Welcome to the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary WikiProject, a collaboration area for Wikipedians interested in improving coverage of this organization. If you would like to help, please jump in and start adding or editing. If you would like to join the group, please add your name to the member list below.
Discussions and consistency issues are best raised on our project talk page, but all questions are welcomed there as well.

This project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians to improve all USCG Aux-related articles in order to make Wikipedia an excellent resource for United States Coast Guard Auxiliary information for all who visit. If you would like to help, please see the to-do list.

Scope and goals

This project is designed to help those interested in improving all of the USCG Aux-related articles on Wikipedia to find a particular area in which they are interested in working. As the Coast Guard Auxiliary is a broad subject, there are many sub-projects and collaborations in which you can participate.

Reminder: All are welcome to make changes!!!

We want to

  1. Standardize the style and format of articles on any article pertaining to the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary
  2. Document notable Auxiliarists who served in the Coast Guard Auxiliary
  3. Create a body of articles that accurately depicts the history and culture of the Coast Guard Auxiliary
  4. Expand the number of articles regarding the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and subjects pertaining to the organization. In addition, improve the quality as well.
  5. Highlight the Coast Guard Auxiliary's relationship to the United States Coast Guard and the rest of the United States Armed Forces
  6. Properly source all USCG Aux-related articles, preferably using the <ref> element and the {{ cite}} series of templates.
  7. Monitor the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary pages to assure no one vandalizes them.
  8. Update the pictures, images, and statistics for the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
  9. Document and categorize the leadership who are currently or have previously supported the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
