Welcome to WikiProject Rocketry! This WikiProject aims to organise, expand, and improve articles about rocketry. If you would like to help, please add yourself as a member in the project. If you have any questions related to articles about rocketry, please post it to the discussion page. The project is currently only edited by two users. Help is needed! If you have any questions, please send a message to User Talk:StarshipSLS.
This project generally considers any article related to rocketry to be within its scope. This includes all types of rockets, their subsystems, launch sites, rocket launches, rocketry history, and rocket-powered aircraft. Individuals and organisations directly related to rocketry are also within the scope of this project.
- Promote the project
- Join this project! Add yourself to the list, and add the userbox to your page, to advertise the project to people who happen to pass by.
- Invite people to the project – drop a note or invite template {{ WikiProject Rocketry invite}} on the user talk page of editors working on Rocketry topics who aren't project members.
- Consider promoting the project via the Wikipedia Signpost WikiProject desk.
- Improve the project
- Update the project pages, archive clutter, and make use of the latest automation available
- Consult the WikiProject Guide for ideas
- Come up with new ones
- Use the project
- Monitor discussions on talk pages of articles covered by the project. Recent changes to the project's talk pages
- Create a new article.
- Expand some of the articles (check out Category:Rocketry stubs or some of its subcategories), always respecting Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View Policy. Also, check the Wikipedia: Manual of Style.
- Add references to articles which need referencing improving. Biographies of living persons are a particular priority.
- Assess some of the Unassessed Rocketry articles, using the criteria at Wikipedia:WikiProject Rocketry/Assessment. Update the project banner on the relevant talk page.
- Check the talk page for requests for help.

Project banner
The {{ WikiProject Rocketry}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner.
