10 000 tagged pages
As of now, we have 10 022 Wikipedia pages tagged with {{
WikiProject Estonia}}, 1156 of which are categories and 7984 are articles (rest are templates, files and such). The number has largely increased thanks to the geographical stubs by
Flying Saucer (
talk·contribs) and
Pelmeen10 (
talk·contribs). However, once again, time to go for quality and not quantity! --

As there is a plan to create a local chapter in Estonia then would here be someone interested of becoming a member of this chapter, titled
MTÜ Wikimedia Eesti?

Among ancient sacral landmarks in Estonia are
cult stones (see
[1]). To my knowledge, this phenomenon is not unique to Estonia; several neighbouring cultures also have them. Unfortunately, I haven't yet found the appropriate article.
Where should I look for it, or is there a need to create one?

We recently went over 2000 articles tagged for
WP:WPET. Well done, everybody!
However, 1052 of them are
stub-class, 629 are
start-class and 218 are
unassessed. No featured class articles and just one GA-level article. Quality, people, quality, not quantity! Perhaps a little motivation is needed – how about a barnstar for getting next article to GA level and
Award of the Soaring Swallow for the first FA level article? Let's get cracking, people!
I went through the unassessed articles and assessed them... pita, but at least now it is done. –

Suggestion
In order to bolster development of the Estonian articles, it would be great to improve referencing and expand coverage. My suggestion is to proceed from sources to articles rather than other way round. Something along the following lines could work:
1) Enter an Estonia-related search term in
Google Scholar
2) Choose an interesting source among the results
3) Summarize (some important part of) it briefly so that you don’t violate copyright
4) Insert claims from the summary with properly formatted inline references into various relevant articles
What do you think of this?

Pay attention to this

I wrote a minor script, that displays this page on top of your watchlist. It should work without
Twinkle and it is relatively untested. If you need to change the options, edit the URL – namely &hideminor=0&days=1&limit=50, it should be self-explanatory. To install (instructions blatantly stolen from Twinkle page):
1. copy the text below and paste it into the bottom of
your monobook.js file:
2. save the new monobook.js page, and
3. completely refresh your browser by
bypassing your cache (hit Control-Shift-R in Firefox or Control-F5 in Internet Explorer).
It might be good to use as URL in this script http://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Special:Recentchangeslinked&target=User:Sander_S%C3%A4de/WPEarticles&hideminor=0&days=7&limit=50 (as
link), which is updated (hopefully) more often then previous one – and contains all WikiProject Estonia articles and talk pages – you can see the list
here. That list gets updated whenever I (or if someone else wants to do it as well – go ahead) runs
this script.
