1	Dune: Part Two		1,498,715		40 years after David Lynch showed Dune is not exactly a story that can be told in a scant 137 minutes, comes the conclusion of Denis Villeneuve's adaptation, making for two movies that suffered a few delays (Part 1 due to COVID, Part 2 due to the Hollywood strikes) and translated in over five hours of runtime how Paul Atreides went from an heir sent to a planet filled with sand and worms to a messianic figure who the local populace will follow to a war. Dune: Part Two earned glowing reviews for fulfilling its epic ambitions, even if it lacks a proper conclusion and ends downright saying Paul's crusades are only beginning (there were originally six Dune books, after all), but hopefully Warner Bros. will answer Villeneuve's dreams of a third movie, given Part Two has high box office prospects (it made back its $190 million budget by Tuesday!) and the universe will even be expanded with the streaming show Dune: Prophecy.

Poor Things entered video on demand (with a streaming debut on Hulu/ Star to follow) after making over $100 million worldwide, allowing more viewers to discover why it was showered with critical praise and awards, including the Golden Lion in Venice and many accolades for Stone's performance (albeit she's facing quite the competition from Lily Gladstone).
16	Dune (novel)		548,390		Frank Herbert wrote this novel in 1965 and it has since influenced all of sorts of works and gotten a few adaptations, including games, a movie in 1984, a miniseries in 2000, and of course, the two movies atop this list. Herbert wrote five more books before he died in 1986, and his son Brian Herbert has contributed novels of his own since 1999.

Robert Oppenheimer		536,912		Oppenheimer, chronicling the physicist who helped build the atomic bomb and was later questioned for his loyalty, is going strong through the awards season and has gotten streaming views after being added to Peacock on February 16. And unquestionably #1 hopes to repeat its impressive $900 million box office, given it's also a prestige production with quite a long running time.

He also threw a lavish wedding party for his youngest son, in which Rihanna performed. Nothing like a billionaire entertaining other billionaires.
19	Taylor Swift		469,715		The pop superstar's Eras Tour concludes its Australian leg and moves to Singapore, where Swift will play six nights. That the city-state is the tour's only stop in Southeast Asia had disappointed Swifties in other countries in the region, and Thai prime minister Srettha Thavisin claimed the Singaporean government paid subsidies of up to US$3 million per show in exchange for exclusivity. The Singaporean government responded that they provided a grant and worked with the concert promoter, but refused to reveal more details. A Philippine politician then weighed in, commenting that "[this] isn't what good neighbors do", and asked his country's foreign affairs department to file an official protest. Who knew a concert tour could cause Bad Blood between countries?
