Talk Page Merger
Hello All,
I have been merging pages
Dunny &
Outhouse. This being my first merger, I have completed it, and then I have had trouble with how to merge the talk pages. Please help!
Hello @
JoshMuirWikipedia:, talkpages of merged articles usually don't get merged. The talkpage of the now-redirected article is abandoned, but is kept in its latest state to document its history. I have added "merged to" and "merged from" templates to the talkpages, and fixed the affected project banners - I haven't checked the entire merged content though. The procedure to merge articles is described at
WP:PROMERGE (#3 and #4 deal with talkpages) - please read up on this information, in case you haven't seen it yet.

Ah thankyou very much
GermanJoe. I did read that, I just got a bit confused in the section of merging talk pages.
Serious issue report
If I have to report a serious bug in wiki software where do I report it? A discussion is already on at Village Pump Technical.
It's a bug in the phabricator (hover the text) and needs to be resolved ASAP otherwise it'll spoil Wikipedia'a Reputation.

You'll have to wait until developers get to the Phabricator report. There is no other venue I know of.

Considering
the phabricator task is currently at unbreak now, it is a top priority and will be fixed as quickly as possible. —

Look like the phabricator task is set to complete, so it should be fixed.

Family tree software
Can anyone advise on anything, not necessarilly restricted to what(ever it is) we use here? Preferably freeware, but.
