These two predreadnoughts were ordered by Chile during a period of tension with Argentina and then purchased by Britain to keep them out of Russian hands when the Chileans changed their minds and offered them for sale. 2003 Pacific hurricane season

My first nom in a while, I hope you like it. The 2003 season was very interesting for it's high number of landfalls, and articles, but lack of major hurricane (though Nora came quite close).
