Your statement is akin to saying that "humans should not be a subcategory of primates" because they are not usually referred to in society as great apes.   • The only content that would fit "living dinosaurs" literally is Category:Birds but we do not need two categories for that, Category:Birds in itself is sufficient.   • Procedural comment I have "Emigrants from Venezuala" on my watchlist so was advised then a CFD was added to the page. However, on clicking the "this category's entry" link, it brought me to a page where it was almost impossible to view the nomination. @ Oculi: has now made his addendum above more visible. So when I clicked the 170 categories, I eventually saw the detailed proposal. Is is procedurally acceptable for a nomination detail to remain entirely off-page on a talk page? Is that fair?     The advantage is that opiners do not have to scroll through 170+ lines to add their views, and has indeed been done many times before.     The collapsed list is the accepted norm. One would notice such a structure. It is quite unlikely that one would notice a link in a rather large wall of text. What makes this procedural lapse all the more egregious was the supercilious replies by the nominator to a GoodFaith query on his talk page here. Nominator's rationale: Exelastini has been deemed a junior synonym of Marasmarchini. See World Catalogue of Pterophoroidea, which also refers to the relevant scientific paper.
Category rename is borderline C2D-speedy, except that the "eponymous page" is a redirect to parent taxon Pterophorinae rather than a separate article. Effects ~50 articles.
