No, not needed, as the first paragraph explains the page as well as covering birds and there is an entire section covering birds. Nothing broken.

A big part of the Bird section is about very big birds, not about birds in general. Perhaps the article could be forked or restructured.

Seems fine as is, and the section briefly summarizes birds and humans coexistence. I don't know why it has expanded information on larger birds but that's applicable as a descriptor for some reason.
