List article with vague inclusion criteria. It is just a honey pot for promoting companies on wikipedia and offers no value to readers.

Many lists

Delete after ensuring all list items are appropriately included in
Category:Conglomerate companies. Nothing here that cannot be covered by the category. List here is somewhat vaguely defined and open ended.

Keep per
WP:NOTDUP as complement to
Category:Conglomerate companies, which should have the same inclusion criteria. I see no substantive argument that this is not a workable classification. And if we have an article on a notable company, we are going to index it in all applicable lists, per
WP:LISTPURP. That's not "promoting companies", that's covering them. postdlf (talk) 14:29, 22 April 2019 (UTC)reply
Keep per
WP:NOTDUP. It is a workable classification.

Keep as complementary to the category of conglomerate companies, as mentioned above.

Comment/concern What is the definition of a conglomerate when it comes to being listed as one? Bits and pieces of larger companies get bought and sold relatively frequently. What is the threshold for being a conglomerate, last year, today, next year. If a company is downsized, ie, bits sold off, should it be removed from the list? Should an entry on the list have a date range attached to show the period it was over the "agreed" threshold to be a conglomerate? Should all entries listed as a conglomerate have an IRS explicitly describing them as such, because the definition as per
Conglomerate (company) is by no means black and white? For us to list a company as a conglomerate without such an IRS I suggest is
WP:OR. Unless these issues are addressed this list is poorly defined.

There is no indication these issues can't be addressed, which means they aren't germane to deletion. There was also discussion on these issues at the previous AFD. postdlf (talk) 13:46, 24 April 2019 (UTC)reply
But it has not happened has it? The list as it stands offers nothing over a category and is vague as to the context and timing of the conglomeration. As a counter example on this very subject,
List of conglomerates in Kenya does offer something over and above a category. If the list under question here looked like that then it might be worth keeping. It does need though some historical context of when the company became a conglomerate and ceased to be one if so.

You need to better familiarize yourself with deletion policy (particularly
WP:ATD), otherwise you're going to keep going around in circles like this. What would be more constructive is for you to either work to improve the page yourself, post your suggestions on the talk page, or if neither of those interest you just ignore it and leave it to those who are interested in it. Either way, no one has to satisfy any deadline. postdlf (talk) 15:18, 28 April 2019 (UTC)reply
Keep. The continents needed some work (done). Subcontinents for Asia and Europe are no luxury given the large number of countries presently under each. That said, I see no existential problems for this list.
