A-Class medal
A-Class medal with Oak Leaves
A-Class medal with Swords
A-Class medal with Diamonds
The Military history A-Class medals encourage and recognize excellence in article creation and development. They are open to any editor who has made a significant contribution to three or more military history
A-Class articles promoted since 1 August 2008. Nominations, including self-nominations, should be made on
this page , and should list the three A-Class articles for which the award is sought. The nomination must be endorsed by at least two
project coordinators , who will award the medal.
The relevant templates can be found here:
Category:WikiProject Military history award templates .
The four types of medals are awarded as follows:
For the first four groups (1–4) of three articles, the A-Class medal is awarded for each group
For the next five groups (5–9) of three articles, the A-Class medal with Oak Leaves is awarded for each group
For the next ten groups (10–19) of three articles, the A-Class medal with Swords is awarded for each group
For the next fifteen groups (20–34) of three articles, the A-Class medal with Diamonds is awarded for each group
Once an editor has qualified for their fifteenth A-Class medal with Diamonds , they become eligible to qualify for the
A-Class crosses .
