Ambiguous title. The "Cyberspace Administration" could refer to various topics beyond the administration of China. Utopes(talk / cont) 22:02, 23 March 2020 (UTC)reply
Keep. I can't find any use which doesn't relate to the PRC (Google search string 'Cyberspace Administration -china').
Narky Blert (
talk) 13:07, 24 March 2020 (UTC)reply
Keep. I created the redirect. Almost all mentions of 'Cyberspace Administration' mean 'Cyberspace Administration of China' but many use alternative forms, such as 'China's Cyberspace Administration' or 'the national cyberspace administration', which a searcher might well reduce to the two words but would be less likely to construct the full four-word name. Therefore the redirect is useful. I do note that other, province-level, cyberspace adminstrations exist within China (eg.
here), but they are a rarity and not yet mentioned in WP. The term is seemingly not applied outside of China. One day, someone may turn 'Cyberspace Administration' or 'Cyberspace administration' (lower-case a) into a disambig page, but for now it does a good job. -

Disambiguate. There used to be only two potential targets for "Iorn", being
Iorn Uldbjerg and
Elizabeth Iorns, (as well as a mention at
Erin that "Iorn" is a variant of the name). However, over the last 1 1/2 to 2 hours, I translated my first article of
Iorn Pio from the Danish Wikipedia to the English Wikipedia so that there would be three viable targets and enough to disambiguate. It was exceptionally difficult because I don't speak Danish. Logical typos can be listed in a "See Also" section. Utopes(talk / cont) 03:00, 25 March 2020 (UTC)reply

While Jewish Maoism would logically belong under the larger umbrella of the Jewish left, there's no discussion of it at the article, and I couldn't find relevant discussion elsewhere, so this will probably disappoint readers.
BDD (
talk) 21:15, 23 March 2020 (UTC)reply
I don't think it makes any sense. The Jewish Left makes sense because there have been left-wing Jewish organizations and Jewish people who joined left-wing parties and remained a self-identified group within them, often publishing Yiddish language periodicals and holding meetings in Yiddish. But while some Jews no doubt became Maoists in the 1960s, there was no Jewish Maoism, just Maoists who happened to be Jewish.
TFD (
talk) 23:08, 23 March 2020 (UTC)reply
I think what
TFD said makes sense. Is Jewish Maoism a thing? A quick Google search gives just forum chat bullshit like Maybe Zionism is the Jewish Maoism in the sense you suggest. or A Jew trying to make Jews into Chinese to cover up for Jewish Maoism. LOL. --

The result of the discussion was delete. I'm interpreting CoffeeWithMarket's call to write a new article about the concept as a delete vote, making this unanimous. signed, Rosguilltalk 20:47, 31 March 2020 (UTC)reply
I was looking for a discussion of racial/ethnic homogeneity and a list or discussion of which countries have more or less racial and ethnic diversity. The closest thing I've been able to find to that is
Monoethnicity, but race isn't necessarily same as ethnicity, so I don't know if that's a suitable target. At this point, I'd be ok with retargeting there or deleting. (Note that the section this redirect targets is no longer there.)
BDD (
talk) 21:07, 23 March 2020 (UTC)reply
Comment - This appears as if it needs to be its own conceptual article. There are at least three fundamental questions worth pondering. One: what exactly is 'race' in terms of a social construct today, given all that we know about human development? Two: what would make a racial group 'homogeneous' in the broad sense since, of course, people aren't milk and the definition of the term is vague? Three: given that racial groups vary in terms of the ease of which individuals are or aren't accepted into its fold, what effects are there on the lives of real people, positive or negative, of the relative homogeneity of their race? I'd be astonished if there aren't reliable sources looking at these matters from a scholarly perspective. Yes, the topic is emotionally loaded and politically radioactive, but it's also well studied. I think.

Strong keep and then some. This is an extremely useful redirect. I have fixed at least half-a-dozen bad links where
User:DPL bot had flagged this specific link. It picks up accidental typos where an editor has copy/pasted e.g.

I’m not sure about deletion due to the redirect working phonetically since the e in syndrome is silent and therefore the word sounds like syn drom. I also noticed that

I'm sure if we looked through enough documents throughout the history of writing, you could find about any typo conceivable. For instance, I have a book that for some reason misprints commas instead of the letter "i" in some places. It's gotta come down to what there's a consensus that people will reasonably think is the correct spelling or might accidently type in.

Anybody can make a typo when filling out a URL. That does not, though, mean that we need to have redirects for every typo imaginable for our URL typing friends. We have redirects for common, plausible typos. Utopes(talk / cont) 15:27, 25 March 2020 (UTC)reply
Weak delete per nom. People do occasionally double capitalize by holding the shift key, but the redirect is still unnecessary from my perspective. Utopes(talk / cont) 15:37, 25 March 2020 (UTC)reply
Delete. A unnecessary redirect for a typographical error (if you're searching using URLs you need to be more careful: we can't possibly have redirects for every typo, or even for every miscapitalisation of a second letter).

Week keep (INdiana only) INdiana may not always be a typo. Lots of state government websites use the capital IN styling for various things. See for example
Healthy Rivers INitiative, or the
JustIN controversy from the end of Mike Pence's term as governor. I can see someone seeing an IN styling somewhere and typing INdiana into Wikipedia or Google. ~ ONUnicorn(

This is a soft redirect to the Japanese article about this person, who appears to have been an early 20th century Japanese painter. I don't believe interlanguage redirects are appropriate in article space, however there is no speedy deletion criteria that applies. This should either be replaced by an English language article or deleted. ~ ONUnicorn(

Delete unless someone decides to create an article. The redirect as is isn’t helpful because even if an average English Wikipedia user had an interest in this person they wouldn’t be a fluent enough reader of Japanese to get any use out of the redirect.--

Comment I boldly moved this to
Draft, but I should have seen the notice and commented here instead; I have no complaints if it needs to be moved back for procedural reasons. I was also unsure of what CSD might fit and appreciate
User:Xezbeth's argument. I have no prejudice against an English article if notability can be shown, but a soft redirect to the Japanese Wiki doesn't seem appropriate. If discussion turns to keep, I suggest a soft redirect to
wikidata:Q11568738, since it can be read in English and link to all other projects that have content. —

@
Ost316:. I've reverted your move per
WP:MOVEREDIRECT. I'm not sure I see why moving the redirect to draftspace makes any sense. You mentioned in the move log it's because it's undersourced—but it's not an article so there naturally wouldn't be any sources. --
Tavix(
talk) 00:59, 25 March 2020 (UTC)reply
The undersourced portion is that standard message with the Draft tool, which still seemed valid on a page with no content that I thought was likely a placeholder until the article was created. I should have been more clear that that was my assumption. If the intention is a permanent soft redirect, then I don't think that the page is appropriate. —
