Welcome to the Short Stories task force of the Novels WikiProject!
Scope
This task force seeks to create, improve, maintain, and provide a standard of consistency for articles about short stories and short story collections, as well as create a forum in which interested editors can work together to improve articles. Slightly long pieces often referred to as novelettes are in scope.

Jask99 (
talk·contribs), joined 31 January 2007 - I keep bumping into these all over the place and figure it's better to help than not
Elizabennet (
talk·contribs), joined 5 February 2007 - I've been helping out, especially with adding the {{infobox_short_story}}. I'm kind of an infobox maniac. They're just so organized!
23skidoo (
talk·contribs), joined 22 March 2007 - I've been a member of the main WikiProject Novels for awhile now and I didn't realize there was a separate participants list for the SS task force so I'm adding my name. Most of my short story involvement is related to books in the
Simon Templar and
James Bond series, but I touch on others, too.
Scrawlspacer (
talk·contribs), joined 15 May 2007 - I'm interested in a lot of different short stories. Some favorite short story writers: Harlan Ellison, Henry James, Madison Smartt Bell, Alice Munro, Donald Barthelme, Herman Melville, James Salter, J. G. Ballard, Kawabata Yasunari, Thomas Mann, Robert Walser, Italo Calvino, Langston Hughes, Joanna Russ, Ralph Lombreglia.

Needed Articles
Expand articles (or merge if appropriate). All of these these stubs would welcome further care and attention.
Start looking for
featured articles and
lists while getting familiar with and helping with
assessment of prose fiction articles. Then add an "Articles" section to this project page.
