Event information

The Africana & Puerto Rican/Latino Studies Club at Hunter College and the Hunter College Libraries invite you to participate in our first Wikipedia Edit-a-thon on Thursday, March 24, 2016. In celebration of Women's History month, we will contribute articles on Wikipedia related to black women for the national Black WikiHistory Month outreach campaign.

  • Date: Thursday, March 24, 2016
  • Time: 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm
  • Location: Hunter College, 695 Park Avenue (68th & Lexington), New York City, New York
    • The Wikipedia training and Edit-a-thon will take place on the 4th floor of the Cooperman Library in the Library Computer Learning Center, E402.

Computers will be available for Hunter students and staff but feel free to bring a laptop with you!

If you are able, please also add your Wikipedia username to the appropriate section below (signatures are created by saving four tildes [~] in a row). If you haven't edited Wikipedia before, we will help you register for a new Wikipedia editing account on the day-of.
