This article is a case of WP:TOOSOON. There is no official bid as yet, we don't if any such bid might be by England alone or UK-wide and the article is based entirely on newspaper speculation regarding "secret talks" and quoting some views on a hypothetical bid. It has also been a magnet for WP:OR and WP:SYNTH, with people creating lists of potential venues based on combining current ground capacities with FIFA requirements. An article is only justified if / when an official bid is announced. Jellyman ( talk) 09:16, 20 June 2018 (UTC) reply

  • Delete, because we don't know what kind of bid would be made (England alone, or jointly with neighbouring countries), if any. WP:CRYSTAL. Jmorrison230582 ( talk) 09:30, 20 June 2018 (UTC) reply

  • Delete - far too speculative. Giant Snowman 09:47, 20 June 2018 (UTC) reply
  • Delete - per above. Far too soon and speculative, although the content would make a good starting point if the bid does go anywhere. Nzd (talk) 10:05, 20 June 2018 (UTC) reply

  • Delete it's a hypothetical bid, not officially announced, and no information is really known about it, including whether it would be just England or the entire UK. Even the sources used are mostly just speculating on what a UK bid would look like and do not really have any confirmed information. Article can be re-created when an official bid is announced and more information is available. Tillerh11 ( talk) 17:33, 20 June 2018 (UTC) reply
  • Delete WP:CRYSTAL, Toosoon, etc. Govvy ( talk) 20:14, 20 June 2018 (UTC) reply
  • Delete. This is far too soon. The idea at the moment is more or less hypothetical and there is not enough reliable information to justify an article at this stage. The 2030 FIFA World Cup article give the topic the appropriate level of coverage at this time. Dunarc ( talk) 20:29, 20 June 2018 (UTC) reply
  • Delete The first sentence contains the word "possible". That alone is speculation. Everything else follows from that. HiLo48 ( talk) 01:18, 21 June 2018 (UTC) reply

  • Delete - from what I can see most of it has been copied from England's 2018 World Cup bid anyway. Stevo1000 ( talk) 15:09, 25 June 2018 (UTC) reply
  • Delete - WP:TOOSOON to say that the U.K. will still exist in 2030. Walter Görlitz ( talk) 01:33, 26 June 2018 (UTC) reply
