  • Delete per WP:NOTSTATS; we do have European Cup and UEFA Champions League records and statistics but WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS as that is the top-level club tournament in Europe and one of the biggest in the world and probably merits and article, whereas the Europa League does not. • Keep. I think there should be some editing here as some of the content is ridiculously crufty, but there are some encyclopedic sections in here. The Europa League and UEFA Cup competitions are sufficiently major competitions to have an article like this - the fact that there is one higher competition in Europe is a poor reason for deleting this. -- Michig ( talk) 07:22, 21 August 2014 (UTC) reply
  • Keep - It might not be the premier European comeptition, but GS's comment is slightly disingenuous, it is still one of the premier football competitions in the world, so that statement needs some considerable clarification to carry any weight! Would suggest moving to List of UEFA Cup and Europa League records and removing some of the cruft elements. The existence of Category:Sports records and statistics and its large number of articles indicates that WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS is a futile argument, there is clearly consensus across multiple sports that a wide variety of statistical articles are indeed desired. • Keep as per Fenix down. European Cup and UEFA Champions League records and statistics is a good example for a similar competition of what this page could be. Nfitz ( talk) 03:32, 25 August 2014 (UTC) reply

  • Keep - this is certainly a sufficiently important competition for us to have a statistical article. I agree with comments above that significant work is needed but that is for outside this AFD. It is now for talk-page discussion as to how this page should be structured. The Whispering Wind ( talk) 17:49, 28 August 2014 (UTC) reply
