Fails
WP:NFOOTY, never played in a fully professional league, and his semi-pro career of three matches would not meet
WP:GNG. It is not nice to say this, but the only notable thing that happened to the young man was being killed by lightning, and while that can be a claim to notability (see
Roy Sullivan) there is hardly established and long-lasting notability to Petrovski in that way (
WP:NOTMEMORIAL)

WP:NOTNEWS unusual deaths are reported all the time and then forgotten about. No major change in football came of this death

Delete - per nom. His footballing career is insufficient to meet
WP:NSPORT. His death has generated some routine coverage, but is not sufficient to meet
WP:GNG.

Delete Sad occurrence certainly, but does not meet GNG that I can see.

Delete - Fails
NFOOTY as has not played or managed senior international football nor played or managed in a
fully professional league. No indication that subject has garnered significant reliable coverage for any other achievements to satisfy
GNG, with almost all significant coverage failing
WP:1E.

Delete/Redirect - a very tragic occurrence, but no evidence of lasting notability or coverage. I'd also suggest redirecting the page to
List of footballers who died while playing per some of the above votes.

Comment - Hi all, as the creator of this article, I have been keeping an eye on this deletion page and I have noted your points. I wasn't clear on
WP:1E and presumed that he was notable as numerous news broadcasters worldwide had picked up on the story of his death, but I see through the unanimous decision on this subject that this is not enough to warrant an article. Apologies for the hassle of having to discuss deletion, and I have taken on board the points made here for future articles I create.
