Thank you @Barek for your contribution, I understand your point and will be happy to discuss it. Here are a few explanation and Skinkin is part of a new and growing ecosystem in France : print on demand and web to print companies. There is already major players included in Wikipedia from Australia : RedBubble, United States : Zazzle and Germany : Spreadshirt... My point is that Skinkin is one a pioneer in this industry in France and this information in itself is worth mentioning on WP. I would also add that the size of the company should not be a criteria as WP doesn't not want to favorize in any way big companies out there. Regarding the non-English references your referring to : La Provence is a very important newspaper in France La_Provence_(journal), Invest in Provence is not a self published reference this is a governmental organization that aim to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in France. Your suggestion are welcome as how to improve the article, I still want to include more information in the article here are some directions I'm thinking about : - Translating the article in French as this information is more relevant to french readers - Add a section about this growing industry in France with references articles and some information about the main players that just popped up in the past few month in France - Links and information about the technics used by players in this industry to meet print on demand expectations for example Imprimante_à_sublimation — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bendest ( talk • contribs) 08:44, 30 May 2015 (UTC) reply

The question is if the subject meets the threshold of notability, as defined in the linked General notability guideline, or the more specific guideline on Notability for organizations and companies. The size of the company is completely irrelevant - what matters for establishing notability as defined by Wikipedia is if it has been the subject of significant coverage by third-party reliable sources. All I see in the article are a combination of self-published materials, and references that are at best trivial coverage that basically confirms the company exists and mentioning its products.

As for translating the article into French - this is the English Wikipedia, so articles should be written in English. The French language Wikipedia is located at https://fr.wikipedia.org/

Lastly, given your username, it's possible that you have a personal relationship to the company or to people closely involved with the company. Thank you @Barek for this explanation. First of all yes, I'm Skinkin's founder I've read the Wikipedia's Conflict of interest guideline and I understand it is discouraged for self promoting purposes and other similar tactics. You must agree that the article is purely informative and does not implies self promoting products or services, if you think I need to change or rewrite some of the information provided to Wikipedia's readers please let me know. Regarding the notability aspect I've added useful reliable sources : on the subject I'm talking about in the article : "sell art work on cases and skins". I've also added a reliable source about the open source technology used for the website since Skinkin has been stated for its best practices by PrestaShop among other known websites in France. I want to add that the other sources are not self published as La Provence is a notable regional newspaper in France and Invest in Provence is also totally independent from Skinkin. • Delete: I can't find anything but trivial/incidental coverage or press release/publicity coverage. The investinprovence link, and accompanying PDF, appears promotional (and likely even written in concert with the company), quite understabdable for an organization that exists to promote businesses! At least one of the references currently listed in the article doesn't even mention Skinkin (rather, the CEO promotes his company in the comments section), and similarly in some other news articles, Skinkin is only mentioned in the anonymous comments section (which, whether from an impartial or affiliated user, is still self-published. I cannot access the full text of the La Provence article (which so far appears the closest thing to a reliable, third party source), so cannot evaluate whether it constitutes significant or trivial coverage, but we need multiple such sources in any case to ensure article content is proportional to coverage in reliable, third-party sources. And to User:Bendest, I would suggest that an article that merely exists without establishing third-party notability is promotional, just as an advertisement that simply states what a company does is promotional. Companies do not warrant coverage on Wikipedia until they have risen to a reasonable level of prominence ( notability), as adequately demonstrated by significant coverage in multiple third-party sources. Yes we have articles on Zazzle, RedBubble etc, but not because we favor big companies over small ones, but that they have satisfied notability requirements.
