The result was delete. No real indication that this player will pass GNG from the discussion other than unsupported claims. I'm happy to restore to someone's user space though if they feel they can and request it.

Comment a cursory glance at his Spanish-language wiki shows he may meet
WP:GNG.

Userfy He definitely has the potential to satisfy
WP:GNG based off his Spanish article and quick Google News search. Perhaps it would be for the best if we give
Hondureñodecorazon a chance to improve the article in his userspace. I also placed the notice of this discussion on his talk page.

The league is not listed at
WP:FPL and is not considered "fully-professional" for the purposes of conferring notability via
WP:NFOOTBALL.

The league is also not listed as not fully professional either. There's an absence of information, rather than a confirmation that they are not fully-professional. Given how highly Honduran teams currently rank in the
CONCACAF Club Index (just behind Panama and Costa Rica), how much attendance they draw, the international TV coverage of league matches, and how much national media coverage the league attracts, I've always been perplexed that there's a lack of a good source (one way or another) on their status. It's most certainly a professional league - is it fully professional?
