- Keep - on the basis of WP:GNG. See [1] [2] [3] [4] [5], among others, for example of WP:SIGCOV. There's likely print coverage from his time as a player as well, considering the length and breadth of his playing career. 21.colinthompson ( talk) 01:11, 30 October 2018 (UTC)

- Keep on WP:GNG grounds. There are Irish players who don't pass WP:GNG but we've had an influx of misses recently, probably due to over-reliance on SNGs: the top flight of Irish football has more than adequate coverage to keep articles like these. SportingFlyer talk 09:51, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
