WP:Notability,
WP:Speculation The only reference provides states that this event is likely to happen in the future. That is a long way short of satisfying notability guidelines and is essentially speculation.

Delete Speculation, can be re-created when it appears on a provisional calendar. -

Delete per
WP:CRYSTAL. No prejudice against recreation if/when this event moves from speculation to reality. -

Keep. This is not speculation.
Daily Mail,
Der Spiegel (largest German weekly),
The Guardian ("Bernie Ecclestone signs deal to host F1 grand prix in Azerbaijan"),
Le Figaro (one of the biggest daily newspaper of France). Fits with "Depth of coverage" and "Diversity of sources" of
Wikipedia:Notability (events). --

No, it meets
Wikipedia:Notability (events) criteria. The Figaro and Der Spiegel is also a reliable source. More than any other one. --

I read the Le Figaro reference as well as the original refereance and neither represents a confirmation at all. --

Comment: Also, those articles are clearly coming from the same source, and are just being rewritten for local audiences. You can tell because all of them contain the same content - not one of them offers anything new.

Delete. The only information is one off-hand comment by Bernie. That is simply not enough for an article.

Delete. Not enough present information to support an article on this future event.

Delete: As per
TOOSOON. Bernie rarely comments on this sort of thing unless he has something up his sleeve, but there are plenty of examples of things falling apart later on - like the proposed Thai Grand Prix; Bernie was very enthusiastic about it, but it appears to be dead in the water. There is a precedent for articles being created in advance, like
Grand Prix of America, but that is mostly being substantiated by its tumultuous history moreso than anything else. Best to wait and see.

Delete - A single comment by Bernie doesn't make it notable. That'd be like
Brian France saying he would like a NASCAR race in Long Beach. That doesn't necessarily mean it will happen.
WP:CRYSTAL and possibly
WP:NOTNEWS violation.
